Clarion Hotel & Suites BWI Airport North

First off the drive into the city was the trashiest I’ve ever seen and that was a glimpse of the parking lot and hotel. Photos online are not what the rooms looked like and it was essentially a landlords special. Rooms were decent smelled of smoke even through we booked non smoking but was relatively clean in the room. Breakfast was a JOKE (hair was in the spoons, nothing had been refilled, we asked for waffle refill at 8:30 and she never refilled). Would stay here if I had to but would probably look elsewhere first

This wasthe worst hotel experience I have ever had. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the property was not being properly maintained. The floors in the lobby, elevators, and hallways were extremely dirty and appeared as though they had not been mopped in days. Upon exiting the elevator on the fourth floor, where my room was located, I was immediately met with a strong odor of marijuana throughout the hallway. This created an unpleasant and inappropriate environment, especially as I was traveling with my small child. Once in the room, I discovered that the television did not work. When I contacted the front desk, the employee appeared to already be aware of the issue and simply informed me that maintenance would return in the morning. No effort was made to resolve the issue during my stay. More concerning was the condition of the room door. The door did not close flush and appeared as though it may have been previously damaged or kicked in. Additionally, the security latch was loose. I immediately reported this safety concern to the front desk, but all I received was an apology. I was not offered a room change or any other accommodation, leaving me feeling extremely uncomfortable and unsafe while staying with my child. I am seeking a full refund for my stay!

The property is close to the airport My room must have been one that was undergoing renovation. The tub was horribly coated and the sink fixtures were loose. The headboard fell from the wall. Very serious

It wasn't the cleanest, the breakfast situation was confusing, and only one elevator worked, making everyone wait while cleaners monopolized it.

DO NOT PICK THIS BED BUG INFECTED PLACE TO STAY... WARNING... DID NOT OFFER COMPENSATION, EVEN AFTER SHOWING PICTURES OF ARE BEDS AND ROOM,DID BOT GI UP TO THE ROOM... THE WORST.!!!!!!!!

Despite the room being okay,the king bed was comfortable. The TV. was okay not excellent.One of the worst experiences here that I had as far as my stay at hotels in general. If I could give zero stars I would! Both elevators(no other elevators) were out of order and I needed to use a cart to bring my things into the hotel upon arrival. The only way I could get a cart from the 3rd floor to the ground floor was via the stairs!!! Despicable!!! This was just one of the numerous cons! The staff members there tend to be indifferent and negligent. They just find one excuse after another without actually making things happen by turning things around for better! Good thing I made sure that I got a ground floor room before my arrival there ! I didn't even think of the elevators when I called to request that! It's just my preference to have a first floor room. In general , if a lot of people are not happy with their stays at hotels it's because of the huge wave of indifference that exists in the whole world today! As far as me staying again at this hotel , even if somebody paid me a lot of money to stay there again , I wouldn't !!!

It only got worse from there. The floor we were assigned to smelled bad, the carpets were dirty, and the trash cans were overflowing. We even saw a large roach crawling in the hallway. When we got to our room, the bed sheets were dirty and the bed skirt looked like it had vomit stains on it. Then we spotted a bed bug crawling on the bed. The bathroom was not clean, and the air conditioner was not working properly. The front desk offered us another room, but that room also smelled bad and the lights were not working. At that point, we canceled our reservation and booked a room at another hotel. If cleanliness is important to you, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. My experience was unacceptable, and I would not stay here again. ⭐ 1/5

Loved the location and the view. My rooms air conditioning did not work well. No hot water. Some of the lights didnt work.

This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences my family has ever had. From the moment we walked into the lobby, it was clear that this property was not being properly maintained. There was no air conditioning in the lobby, making it extremely uncomfortable, and the area was crowded with individuals who appeared to be homeless. The entire building smelled strongly of marijuana, including the elevators and hallways. The elevators themselves were disgustingly dirty, and unfortunately things only got worse when we reached our room. The room was filthy. The walls were stained with multiple unknown substances, the sheets were visibly stained, and the overall condition of the room was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the door did not lock properly, creating a serious safety concern—especially since we were traveling with children. We immediately realized that this was not a safe or sanitary environment for our family. The condition of the property was shocking and far below even the most basic expectations for a hotel. The only positive aspect of our stay was the front desk staff. They were professional, understanding, and very helpful. Once they saw they heard our concerns, they promptly assisted us with a refund and understood why we could not stay there with our children. I would strongly advise families to stay away from this place.

Horrible dirty

Price was good. But hotel was not very clean and ammenties needed to be replaced. Also don’t stay here if you have young children. I traveled with mine and we got little to no sleep due to everyone screaming all night. Hotel also smelled of marijuana.

They gavee a refund with no hassle Where do I start? Do NOT STAY HERE The parking lot had no lights The facility was trifling, dirty and unkept The elevator hadnt been swept, cleaned in lord knows when. Trash ans ramen noodles all in the corners. The floors were sticky and a dirty grey color The room: The door wasnt secured, the bottom did not close all the way There was a gap sealed in with insulation foam (you read thay right) The back of the door had black spots and hand prints The sheets were dirty The av unit was broken The curtains above the ac were almost black (suppose to be white) Im sure I wouldve been more accommodated sleeping in my car than this filthy place. You will get scabbies or something if you stay at this hotel. Yes I reported it, cancelled ny reservation and bolted out of that door

This place is a dumpster.
