Hotel Plein Large

If you want luxury without leaving the premises, this is the place for you. Beachfront, with a bar and a restaurant attached, we enjoyed everything about this beautiful property. They even have live music - I think only on weekends. Comfortable room with shaded beachfront patio, what could you ask for more? It was the perfect winding down pit stop after a week of traveling. The only downside is that the main restaurant closes at 5pm. The bar is open till sunset, and you can still get some food.

When we ordered items from the hotel restaurant, the staff would often forget, so we had to remind them several times. There wasn't any hand soap in the bathroom. We asked for hand soap but they never gave it to us.

Perfect location in Bandol - excellent view and beach access. The welcome receptionist was outstanding! The hotel didn't have a receptionist on duty, and after we misplaced our room key, there were no one answering the Emergency Call number at the reception area (started calling at 23:30 PM). No one answered the entire night (and Booking.com only referred back to the hotel) and unfortunately we ended up painfully sleeping in the car until 8:00 am (when they opened the reception office). Had to use public restroom downtown during the night :( As a globe trotter, I have never ever experienced a hotel at this level without a night guard. Be aware!

Breakfast was outstanding and beautiful location! On site restaurant was closed for dinner during our stay.

The location is amazing. Slept all night to the sound of the waves. The view is perfect. Watched the sunset from our balcony. The breakfast was delicious and the service was better than one could expect. The owner and staff are all a delight and very helpful. I could pick up the wifi halfway down the beach, but I could barely get it in our room. They just need to install a repeater and it will be just fine.

In general hotel was good. Room was small but clean and well organized for it`s size. A lot of nice modern features inside. We wanted to have some rest on the terrace after long drive with cold rose which we had with us and we were kindly provided with the ice and glasses, it was super nice. Unfortunately our terrace (room #3) didn`t have any cover (ceiling or pergola) and it was not possible to use it between 10 am and 8 pm (it was too hot). As the terrace is the best part of the hotel we were not happy at all with this. But I suppose this is just one room like this, all other terraces which we`ve seen were covered.

We adored our stay here. The rooms are functional but the location & the views are truly awesome. Amazing sea swimming on the doorstep, brilliant private sun deck and fabulous bar with live music to watch the sun go down. We loved the staff & the overall vibe. All so much better than the photos. Would definitely book again. Nothing. For the price point it’s excellent given location.

Location is outstanding, honestly feel it's the best place to stay in Bandol for access to the beach & town. Outlook over the sea is stunning. Staff were helpful, room was exactly to our taste & breakfast very good. Restaurant is on site but didn't get a chance to eat there. Cocktail bar is fabulous & live music for sundowners. Maybe code to enter property sent on day of arrival to ease entry as it's quite hard to find your way in initially....but overall it is a lovely place to stay.

Very nice location and friendly, welcoming staff. The breakfast was very enjoyable, esp in the restaurant, which is tastefully decorated and has a lovely view. The complementary beach towels and the sun deck with sunbeds were amazing. Always a nice breeze up there with an amazing view on the sea. Ample and convenient parking. Good location with amazing sunsets. The sunbeds on the beach are 35€\day, also for guests. Nevertheless the free sunbeds on the sun deck made up for this.

Location was fabulous Reception team were the best and took great care of us Room was small but had everything, A/C worked perfectly Make sure you get a room with a balcony - great place to relax Car parking was a little tight

Location great , right next to sheltered beach with only a few steps down to it . Staff really friendly , helped with a few non standard requests and our very broken French ! The Views from room and terrace exceptional . Room had everything you need . The whole hotel had a really nice vibe The shower head holder was a little low
