Beautiful view from breakfast onto the beach. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly. There were several pools to keep the kids occupied. The balcony onto the pool was helpful whilst watching the kids The food in the restaurant was great and very well priced The kids clubs were poor; the staff at the younger children’s club did not greet or make any interaction with my daughter, instead they sat on the table chatting for the duration of our time there. They could not have seemed less interested in children. The older kids clubs was only for children from 8 years of age whilst the younger club was for children upto around 5, this meant that my 6 year old felt too young for the one club and wasn’t allowed in the other. The gym was old and dated and didn’t even contain exercise mats.

The room was nice, decent size, and we had a pool access room. Smart TV, has some app access not all, Beds are comfy, Plenty of activities, Gaming room, Small stage for Jazz or kids shows Overall 8 day stay and our second time would highly recommend The front bar area needs fans, and good tunes to go with the pool tables at the front bar, Main pool slide needs a major upgrade. Bathrooms need upgrading more modern touch

The location is excellent and the beach is beautiful. The kids club is clean, well-equipped, and both my children loved it. It’s definitely a family hotel, if I were single, I’d avoid it. There are kids everywhere. The food at the restaurant is average. The rooms are spacious but a bit outdated. The pillows aren’t comfortable and there’s zero sound insulation you can hear people walking and talking like they’re inside your room. The price feels a bit high for what you actually get. It did provide fun for the kids and convenience for us - but we definitely paid for that convenience.

Big resort with many pools. The beach was just one step from the hotel property. Very child friendly place Hotel is a resort for package tours and not really our cup of tea. All noises from the corridor were clearly audible to our room

Sunwing Bangtao Beach is truly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We stayed for 6 nights. Our family of four—two adults and two kids—had an unforgettable experience. The resort offers multiple pools, and the waterslide was a hit not just for the kids but for dads too! The pool bar with happy hour adds a fun touch for adults, while the well-maintained ping pong tables keep everyone entertained. Service here is exceptional, and the massages are simply incredible—perfect for unwinding. The buffet breakfast is outstanding, with plenty of options and a stunning ocean view just a few meters away. Dining is a delight, especially at the main restaurant where the Thai dishes are beautifully prepared. The location is a little remote, but that’s part of the charm—you get peace and quiet away from the crowds, making it ideal for families. With so many activities and thoughtful amenities, Sunwing Bangtao Beach is a paradise for kids and parents alike. Highly recommended for a relaxing, fun-filled getaway.

The resort is designed for families. If you're planning to have a good time at the beach and activities with your kids. Definitely the place. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Bang Tao is a quiet area compared to patong. So if you're planning to explore Phuket, it's probably not the best area. But if you're planning to have a more family friendly time. It's perfect.

Great pools Awesome place for the family. We loved the relaxing time next to the pool. Our boys enjoyed the teen's space. The boy that was running the club for teens was so kind and great with the young people, thank you so much. The girls @ the reception were sooo kind and helpful all the time. All of them were great, especially Matmee, thank you sooo much to all of them, great info and very nice service. We loooved everything.

At the end of the corridor (building 8), next to room 8109, there is a small window that is always open. Behind it are sewage pipes that emit a very unpleasant odor that bothers the nose and seeps into all the rooms. The hotel management needs to solve this problem radically. I have suffered from it every time I have stayed there. I have visited all the rooms on the ground floor and they all have unpleasant odors. The room furniture is old and needs to be renovated. The rooms are dark due to poor distribution and poor lighting. You must be careful and keep the room door closed at all times, otherwise you will be surprised by the presence of a gecko and some insects wandering around your room. The breakfast is repetitive and some items sell out before closing time. I would like to thank Ms. Aon for her kindness and good treatment during my last two visits, as well as Ms. Satzy and Ms. Matmee , they were wonderful. Room smells
