Iris Hotel

Good location, access to shops and eateries around. Really helpful, professional and friendly staff. Premises shows sign of outdated and requires overall uplift.

- Good and spacious room. - Good washroom ( small though ). - Helpful staffs. - Good location. - Good WIFI connection. - Good food from the restaurant. - Lot of street foods available at the place. - Washing facilities. - Exceptional cleaning services. - Food at restaurant is slightly pricy, but okaysh. - Extremely priced for the food items that are in the room ( The same things are available outside for almost less than half of the price ). - Less number of TV channels are available. - WIFI is restricted to 2 devices ( So bad for a business hotel ).

Breakfast had many options but nothing was a wow.

It is a calm, cool and quiet oasis is turbulent Bangalore. Regency Shopping area in walking distance with lots of restaurants and bars. I loved the breakfast, Indian and continental and appams on Sundays! The staff at the restaurant, in room service and especially at reception and front door extremely friendly and welcoming. I loved my shower - the first one in my Indian experience with great pressure - it became my daily refreshing monsoon shower ? I’d rate it 4 stars, just nothing to complain!

A great hotel in a great location, with great breakfast / all day restaurant on the rooftop @ swimming pool. Friendly and attentive service. The room is spacious and calm. The location with plenty of restaurants and shopping zones is perfect. It is a top hotel for a business traveler. I love the Iris Business Hotel. The really only point I missed was a power outlet near the bed. There are 3 outlets but one is for the water cooker and 2 are at the desk.

I booked the Iris Club room. Which I thought was a business room. Boy I was wrong. Breakfast chef and normal breakfast waiters were excellent. The doorman/bellboy was also excellent. Bed is quite comfy and the size of the Iris Club room is decent. Location is quite convenient. Close to many places and services. Receptionist and night manager both polite. Thats it. The Iris Club is not a business room. It has a very weak wifi signal, impossible to attend online meetings. The desk and chair are horrible and impossible to work with many hours a day. Decent office chair would help. We were staying 4 nights just to be clear. There is no common space to work at this hotel. Only at the outdoor restaurant on the top floor. No one really uses that to work for obvious reasons. Housekeeping team did not honor the "do not disturb" knocked on the door back and forth. When we said "later" they were kind of offended which is weird and confusing at the same time. During breakfast there is one guy wearing jacket and is constantly on his personal phone and absolutely doing nothing. It creates a weird dynamic. We don't need to see who is the boss and we don't care. Lastly, during check out we were approach and asked about leaving a good review. Please don't do this in a Business hotel. I think the majority of guests are fully capable to make their own decisions.

Cleanliness ,interiors and location Mattress could be more comfortable.

I love the room and breakfast. There was a very brighg light in decathlon college. It was intrupting our room darkness.

The room was clean and modern. The breakfast was very good, served on a nice rooftop.

The pillow and sheets smelled of sweat. There was no power outlet by the bedside.

It is a decent and clean hotel. I was on a short trip and this was the third hotel I checked in, after getting unlucky with trash hotels first two times. Many thanks to Iris hotel team for making my stay pleasant! I appreciate that bare essentials like room cleaning, hot water, friendly and responsive staff just work well there. Everything you need you can arrange for by asking. If you read reviews before picking a hotel, make sure to skip reviews from indians. They are most likely fake. Even though meaning of the word "clean" differs between cultures, staff may require some training to notice obvious things. No big deal, everything can be fixed by asking.

Location was good Overpriced for the facilities, basic unclean pool and nothing great in the hotel

I had late checkout included but the property denied it and charged 50% of the fees

Overall, hotel was Ok for the price at which I got the room. WiFi connectivity from the room was poor. Also, while I did not encounter any problems myself, so did not have to complain, I did see one guest complaining bitterly about the airconditioning in his room (the previous night) while I was checking out. And the person at the reception was rude and insensitive, and washed his hands off stating that maintenance staff were not available in the night. I find this very strange.....what does a guest do if any utility in the room stops working in the middle of the night???

Two minutes from Brigade Road Wouldn’t advise the use the pool as pigeons where roosting on an overhang that would allow them to poo straight into the pool.
