First of all - I felt highly misled about the property. And that is what the 2 starts are for: The room description for "Deluxe Double Room" states that it is 42 square meters and the pictures include also the living room which totally implies the it is all part of the deal. - However, beware: what you get is a 12 square room which is clean and reasonable comfortable but pretty worn down. Nowhere close to how it looks on the pictures (those were taken pretty well and look much better then in reality). - The living room is accessible, but the host hangs out there all the time, and sleeps there on the yoga matt overnight, which makes it totally uncomfortable for using the space. - After realizing I totally cannot understand the thick Indian accent of the host, I switched to communicating via text hoping that this will allow for a meaningful communication. However, what happened was, that after I texted the host started knocking on my door and insisted that we talk. This was very disturbing, and frankly, not really acceptable. - I originally was not planning on posting this review because the host was a very nice person, but then I decided to put all the details here so the owner / booking manager gets the opportunity to fix the room description and address the other issues. Also for the benefit of others who might be misled by the description and the high reviews as I was.

Location is the excellent; walking distances to a lot of restaurants, pubs, malls, shopping...if you want to get a little more brisky then Cubbon Park, Ulsoor Lake and Comm Street is also doable. Could not get a location on Google Maps; landed around Saphire Toy Store, after Garuda. Service design needs to adapt if you want to cater to corporates and individual travelers. While the staff somewhat accommodated eventually, this aspect can go a huge mile if preempted. TV channel options can be improved (English options)

The staff was polite and helpful. Requested for iron board and iron after 10 pm and they happily obliged. Had a lot of heavy luggage since I was in transit, but they patiently carried each piece up and down the staircase to the street level and then till the cab parked a bit far. Maintenance is terrible. Water was dripping from the AC due to lack of servicing. Cracked wash basin in bathroom. WC flush was leaking continuously, but no one came to repair it despite repeated complaints. Breakfast was meagre, but tasty.
