Such a beautiful building, rich in culture and character. Location is close to Everything - right in china town and close to Markets and restaurants. Owner, Kars and staff were delightful and so welcoming. We enjoyed some delicious lattes and chocolate - best we had while in Thailand! The room was spacious enough for 4 of us - it was spotless and had electrical Outlet and light at each of the 4 bunks. The kids enjoyed the 2 upper bunks and having 2 washrooms was handy ?. We loved the artsy vibe, the amazing art on display, the little gift shop and overall vibe ❤️. We would definitely be happy to stay there again. . We did ok without an elevator but there are many stairs (especially if you’re not on the main floor), which can be a bit challenging with luggage or if someone had mobility challenges. The back of the hostel leads out to a ‘scrap metal Industry’ type of street which was new for us.

Clean and perfect location if you want to explore talad Noi , songwat and China town . Perhaps the mattress could be a bit more softer .

Awesome location, good value, lovely staff. Not really a problem for me but I was in a room on the 4th floor. It’s a walk up so if you aren’t up for it, it’s not the place for you. Though staff carried my suitcase up. Also bed is very firm (but the room is very quiet and temperature control was perfect for sleeping).

Absolutely LOVED our stay here, General Manager Kars makes you feel so at home and welcomed. The room is so well laid out with more than enough space to unpack and not feel crowded. Room, bathroom impeccably clean, kettle for tea and coffee provided. I’ve been wanting to stay here for sometime now and I have to say after 25 years of travel to Bangkok this is my new favorite place. Chinatown is the new hip section of BKK and it does not disappoint, so staying here is right in the middle of all the activities, however the room is super quiet which allows for a satisfied nights sleep. Thanks again to Mr Kars and his amazing staff !

The property was great. Location was a bit tough to find at first but not a real problem. Close to several great places while still being in a quiet part. Great recs from the host.

Loved this place for the following reasons... 1. great location, and the surroundings are super interesting. 2. The staff were friendly and helpful. 3. The aesthetic was superpleasing, and you can book a street photography tour there. The owner is super talented. 4. The room was quiet and serene. Perfect for a break from the energy of the city. Nothing. It was all great. I shall stay again.

A wonderful hostel, nestled in an authentic feeling park of china town. The hostel is really well maintained - perfect for anyone seeking a more real experience outside of anonymous hotels and resorts. The cafe is manned by wonderfully friendly workers and the owner was very friendly - even staying up late into the morning to welcome us after our flight was delayed. Our room in the top floor had a fantastic view and we could even seen the river - a nice touch. Bathroom was awesome. The hostel also has really fun Lego displays. Nothing :)

Firstly, Kars and the team at the Photohostel were very kind and accommodating, fantastic service! Wonderful photographs are displayed in the Photohostel that make you smile and feel inspired to take your own photos while venturing the streets. Also, the cheese peanut butter tosti at the Photohostel, simple toast sandwich with flavours that actually work, 10 out of 10. & Iced matcha drinks chefs kiss. The location is exceptional, a few steps away from all of the old charm of Talat Noi and Song Wat with an array of amazing cafes and a few steps away from the pier that takes you across to IconSiam. Thank you Kars and team for being wonderful to us during our stay.

The location is really nice, close to china town and the real Thai life. You can enjoy breakfast from the little stands outside the hotel or inside the hotel where there is a cute Cafè (western style) In my room there wasn’t a window so it was quite dark

The staff was exceptional. They made our stay the best they can. We really enjoyed our time here. The location of the hotel is a bit tricky but it was ok.

Very nice place where old traditional house meets contemporary services and accommodation. You shouldn’t miss it. Perfect and quite location in China town. Very clean. Perfect location. Nice owner.

The Photohostel is in a great part of town. Lots of great things near by and the river boat 2 mins walk away

Perfect hostel for families! In authentic Talat Noï district. Convenient location for food and discoverinf broader Bangkok (walking distance to Chinatown, Chao Praya piers, Metro blue line,…) This is exactly the type of stay i was looking for ??

Excellten location, in a really authentic working neighbourhood of Talad Noi, within walking distance to China Town, also close to the river, the next pier is only 3 min walk away. The hostel is charming and the staff extremely helpful.

Very friendly staff. Nicely renovated and decorated rooms in industrial style. The cafe was great, with Dutch cuisine options, to ease into our trip in Thailand. The food was fantastic! ? And 10% discount on consumptions for hotel clients. Keep in mind there are quite some stairs to move around, but the staff will happily help you with any luggage.

Location was fantastic, easy access to the River boats and Chinatown. The hostel team were incredibly helpful and caring and made us very welcome.
