Location is excellent. There are two 7/11 nearby, restaurants and near the sightseeing places and Khaosan Road. There is also a free Tuktuk service from Hotel to Grand Palace and Khaosan Road. We got a family room (2 connecting rooms), which is ideal for us. Room was clean and airconditioning was working well. There are free water bottles everyday. Tea/coffee/snacks in lobby. Staff available 24hrs. nothing that we did not like. just a suggestion, maybe they could provide hotel slippers :) and a mirror in the room not only in the bathroom.

My friends and I stayed a few nights in July. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is central, and it was easy to get to all the places we wanted to. The staff helped us arrange a cab, gave us local information. Tea/coffee/snacks in lobby. Staff available 24hrs. Comfortable beds, good sized room. Price was good. I think it would be helpful to have a mirror in the main room, not just the bathroom.

No one bothered to open the door for me, and I was left struggling on my own with two heavy suitcases. Great property and rooms, but the lack of basic hospitality and staff helpfulness ruined the experience.

Best value. Location was great near old temples and the provided shuttle to Grand Palace at 8, 10, and 12 made it easier to see that area. The room was clean and quiet. Service was amazing and they even provided snacks.

Location was good The reception desk made me wait for 3 hours in the reception area before my booking. If they would have asked I would have given extra money. I traveled from Boston 28 hours of flights I was extremely tired.

Clean professional hotel with full time receptionist at the check in desk and a person who is probably a security guard/maintenance man there with reception. Location was great. Close to the pier. King bed and room were comfortable. The shower door doesn't seal well, so water seeped all over the floor. We let them know. And they fixed it as best as they could the very next day but it still needs new sealing on the glass doors.

Everything at Tars Place was perfect. This was my third time staying with them and I recommend it to everyone thinking about traveling to Bangkok and wanting to be in an area that is well centered and still peaceful. Khao San Road is a walking distance, the hotel offers their own tuktuk service to take guests to the main attractions nearby, there is the ferry boat that takes you to the other part of the city and metro is nearby. The staff are always nice and friendly. I am definitely staying with them again next time I'm in the city. There was nothing I did not like. Everything was great!
