The location The facilities were a bit outdated/not functional

Great location on a fairly quiet street right in the center of the retail and commercial area of the neighborhood. Wonderful common space to hang out in. Some daily activities. Clean rooms. Good price for what you get. There was very little I did not like. The room I was in had its own bath but was as basic as it gets. There was no kettle, chair, TV, or water provided. The room is small with limited storage, and may be a little tight giro even though the room has a good size bed. But for me, the room was all I needed and met all of my basic needs.

Close enough to the chaos without being IN the chaos on Khao San (about a 5 minute walk). Everyone is really friendly, nice place to sit outside… room was decent enough

Great value for money Small room

Bed was nice and firm but just gentle enough. Had microwave and a locker. Didn't bother with shower but it seemed like they had it. I thought the AC was way too cold. The staff did offer to turn it down. There was a cute like mouse that got scared when it scared me. I wasn't planning on going to Khaosan Road so it was difficult to get to the Metro and I ended up riding in a cab as the bus was hard to flag down for a ride.

The staff are very nice and friendly. The rooms are although basic but really welcoming with touches that make them feel much more upscale. Clean rooms and bathrooms. The location is perfect as it is very quiet but very close to Kaosan and to everything for that matter. The street is a pleasant one and there is a7/11 less than a minute away. There is a laundry right across the street. The bar downstairs is lively every evening. Nothing. Will be staying there again!

My wife and I had an excellent stay here! We are two Canadians, 30 years old. For us, it was a perfect location. Very close to the popular area of the old town of Bangkok, but thankfully it is on a quiet street (just a few blocks away from the busy streets of the area). Several excellent restaurants nearby! Staff were friendly, and the hostel seemed very clean. Beds were comfortable! (We booked a private room, so I can’t comment on the dorms). We had an excellent stay here. The only one thing that is worth considering for some guests is that the private rooms are up either one or two sets of stairs. This is nice, because it is quiet on the upper floors, but for some people it might be hard to have to use the stairs many times a day (if you are maybe not an active person). For us it was not a problem!

They wouldn’t clean you room until you ask them to - but this isn’t a big deal.
