I enjoyed the property staff. They were very fun, attentive and always smiling. I liked how hard working they were and seemed like a team. Many of them worked very long hours and were there all day. They ate lunch/ dinner and snacks behind the check in desk. I’m telling you this to get the point across that they value their jobs very much. They truly seemed like they were enjoying working there:) Even though I’m super positive I sometimes have negative things to say. In this case, however, I have nothing bad to say. I’ve been traveling outside the USA for 8 months and Beanstalk was probably my most favorite property I stayed at.

Loved the Location That there was no lunch and Dinner
-
Close to the center and calm area.
-
It’s clean and nice Nothing
-
The shower handle broke off immediately when arriving. The entry was fussy with the slippers. Don’t like leaving shoes in public area.
-
The rooms aren’t very well soundproofed, so noise travels easily. We could hear other guests talking and doors slamming at night. Unfortunately, there was also a loud argument around midnight that made it difficult to sleep. Bringing earplugs is definitely a good idea. Additionally, the facilities feel somewhat dated, and the floors creak quite a bit when walked on, adding to the overall noise.

It’s aesthetic and very clean. Cool ambient. Bed is a bit uncomfortable. Maybe it’s just a little bit thinner….

Modern vibe, clean and spacious The room lacks mirror, no laundry place

I liked the location, it was generally pretty clean! Only real issue would be the soundproofing. It sounded like we were in between two family rooms, not sure if the soundproofing was bad or if our neighbors were just soooo loud. Not a nice view from our room, and the bed was like the Japanese style and on the floor, so it wasn't the most comfortable to get out of it if you've got bad knees.

1. Service - The staff were immensely helpful and helped us have a decent time 2. Aesthetics - The hotel has a very distinct vibe 3. Amenities - The hotel's own toiletries like shampoo and body wash were amazing 1. Room - The room had high ceilings, but still felt a bit claustrophobic as there were no balconies or windows to open. The location makes it impractical to open the windows as it would let in more noise than air. 2. Bathroom - Really, really small. Showering was a harsh experience as the shower stall's handle kept bumping into my back. The toilet was tiny, and I'm a small person. Neither me nor my wife could sit on the toilet comfortably. 3. Location - No nearby metro stations within walking distance. Same goes for restaurants. I certainly messed up picking Sathorn for my stay in Bangkok. 4. Food - They have a rather limited option for breakfast, and it didn't feel like the kind of meal to start the day with. Only took it because it was complimentary.

Very nice Japanese inspired hotel, nice rooms. A lot of noise from the outside but maybe that's just normal in Bangkok center.
-
the walls are very thin though, you can hear neighbors really clearly
-
A very minor issue: having to ask for hot water
-
The staff was very forthcoming and welcoming

Oh ya, and the hotel smells. Open the door to the lobby and the smell will smack you in the face.

1) love the cute name. beanstalk =) 2) lobby is tastefully decorated in browns and grays of wood, brick and mortar. 3) great location on surawong street near freeway entrance; hence, easy access to bkk airport. stalls plentiful nearby under said freeway. walkable to indian joints on silom rd. but, forget trying to walk to silom or chongnonsi bts stations. bangrak central and talad noi are walkable but a bit far thus not advisable during the day. 1) no clearly visible sign on street. 2) inconsistent decor among lobby, guest floors and rooms. lobby seems like a legit 3 star hotel, the guest floor hallways like a hostel, and the rooms are somewhere in between. 3) the room was musty. stank of BO, mold, probably both. the bed frame is encapsulated by a wooden bench of sorts which is convenient but also dangerous.

Great hotel contemporary design and not far from anything. Not on the train line so makes it a little difficult if you are dependent on local transport. Everything Distant from the train line, makes it difficult to be local transport dependent. The bathrooms are clustered with not a lot of space.

Well maintained. Friendly staff.
-
The vibes and the design of the place, the interior and also the lobby.
