Golden Nest Hotel - Suvarnabhumi

Location is close to Suvarnambhumi airport, which is convenient when you arrive late. Clean and comfortable bed - what I needed for a night. Planes flying over the head, first I concerned, but it did not bother me at all, and no flights at night. Slept very well, clean washroom, shower. For the price - it is super! I stayed in building 2, so if they were connected, would be nice. But they did their best, it is covered pass from building 1 to building 2. Not a problem

Wonderful staff, very kind and helpful, nice room and excellent location for our early flight.

The hotel was really close to the airport and it is clean with comfortable beds. One of the staff members is friendly. Hotel arranged taxi to the airport. There is NO wifi. I booked this place because I needed somewhere to work from. However, wifi does not exist at this place. They do have a wifi but it doesn't have internet. I tried to talk to the staff and while one of the staff was friendly, there was another woman who simply told me to not bother them about this because it wasn't their fault but rather the internet company's fault. Even if it is the internet company's fault, I believe it is still the hotel and the hotel staff's (her) responsibility to contact the internet company and figure out what the issue is as this is one of the basic services they listed that they could offer. However, instead, she made me feel bad and rudely told me to go away. So if you are okay with having no wifi, then this is a good place. It's a shame because had there been internet or if the staff had at least tried to help fix it, I would have given a 10/10 rating.

Very convenient to spend a few days if you are arriving or leaving at the Suvarnabhumi Airport. The bedroom is large and comfortable.

Breakfast was sufficient. We stayed over there to bring daughter home from airport. Other guest made to much noise outside the rooms. pleasant

Great customer service. The shower pressure was low and didn't heat up very high.

Perfect for my short stay before the next flight, spacious room, helpful staff and big bed. 15 minutes away from the airport.

Staff is not helpful with a rude guy, location os challenging yet close to airport

1) Good location, Friendly staff, I can honestly say that this place is VERY safe for Female Travellers, including Solo female Travellers. 2) Other guests are usually families, groups of friends but no unruliness among any crowd. 3) They have a nice and Healthy breakfast. There isn't a separate vegetarian option, unfortunately. Location is far away from standard Iconic Bangkok landmarks, so this is probably best for a repeat / work-related visit.

Bathrooms did not have a fan. Only open window, so it smelled very damp and musty. Staff was a bit rude at the front desk. Demanded we pay 500 baht per room for deposit in CASH. I did not have that much cash on me, and she would not accept credit card, like most other hotels. She asked me for my passport and I said NO. She asked me for my home country currency, so I provided that. I was not happy with her tone and attitude.

Only 150 - 200 THB taxi ride from airport. (Use short distance taxi). Or call hotel in advance and book shuttle service for 150 THB

Close to convenient shops, clean, and friendly

Golden Nest is a utilitarian, no frills hotel near the airport. No aesthetics at all! That being said, the room was quite comfortable. The plumbing and the aircon worked fine. The bed had both soft and hard pillows, something I appreciate. Plenty of surfaces for unpacking and a very nice clothes rack/luggage rack. Safety seemed very good, unlike the other airport hotel we stayed in a few months ago, which was much fancier (and more expensive) but had mattresses piled up in front of the emergency exits! The staff tried hard to be helpful, with mixed results. We were on a tight schedule and needed to have breakfast as early as possible. Breakfast service starts at 7 and they promised to have it ready for us by then, and did. The breakfast was pretty awful. One egg, tasteless watermelon, close to raw toast with margarine, a hotdog and a slice of livid pink luncheon meat... terrible coffee. Better than nothing, however. And only 150 baht ($5). And the hotel must have been right under the flight path. Aircraft were flying over all night, really close. (I did get used to it, but it was quite noticeable.)

This is one of the least costly hotels don't be expecting any glamour or four or five stars the hotel is basic but has all the amenities you need for a good night's sleep or stay in the vicinity of the airport.
