Disappointing

Walking distance to Bravo BKK where competitions are often held. Spacious room and bathroom. Majority of the staffs are hospitable. They delete or hide negative reviews on Google maps. Cons: 1. Early check in at full room price I went for a massage while waiting for check-in. Paid 1200 per person. It was ok. There are many rooms available. Having my own Airbnbs, I could not understand the reason they are not allowing early check-in for a smaller amount. Again, I don’t mind paying extra but at 11am, they should not be charging a full amount for early check in. I also understand if the hotel is fully booked but it was obviously not. If the concern is the AC or electricity usage, again, they can charge a lower fee for early check in. The only result you will get is disgruntled customers when you charge full price. Someone talked to me after I got frustrated already. I guess she was the manager. They upgraded my stay to Grand Deluxe. I don’t need it but thank you for this. Actually, this is often done when the room is overbooked. 2.Food Room Service needs to be paid immediately. I am surprised that a 4 star hotel is not allowing to charge the room and pay the total at check out instead. 3.Breakfast ordeal #1 Again, I am staying at a different hotel almost weekly and in multiple countries. I use Airbnb, Booking and Agoda. Prior to booking, I noticed that in Agoda the price did not include the breakfast while in Booking the same price showed that breakfast was included. Ofcourse, I booked the cheaper one with breakfast. Apparently, Booking or reservations made a mistake. I had to pay for the breakfast. 4. Breakfast ordeal #2 The lady at the breakfast counter answered the phone while I was talking to her. I didn’t wait and just went inside as she already disrespected me. My son talked to the lady and apparently a different staff came in to handle the breakfast issue. You DO NOT answer the phone while someone is talking to you. 5. Breakfast ordeal #3 The restaurant manager needs to learn courtesy. Talking nicely doesn’t necessarily mean you are nice. You are just passive aggressive. On the first day before check-in, my son had breakfast. We were staying there until my son digested enough before the massage. The resto manager talked to every table that the breakfast will end in 10 minutes. He said the same spiel to everyone except when he talked to me he added that he wants to change the table which in my view “I need you to leave” since we have been there since 7am. I brushed it off and left for my massage. The next day, I told the breakfast counter to clear everything with reception and I will just talk to reception before check out. The manager went to my room to ask me to pay. He started nicely as always. I told him I will talk to the reception to clarify the issue upon check out. He insisted that I pay immediately. Mind you, I was packing because we are about to leave. I raised my voice because he was stopping me from closing the door. He looked at me up and down. I snapped at him because he was treating me like a criminal just for 300+ baht! On top of that, I was talking to my son about strategy on his competition and this person can’t wait until check out time. I talked to Booking/reservations and clarified the issue. Check out was fast and paid the breakfast there.

The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and pleasant. If they ever get a job someplace else I'd be delighted to follow Sterile, impersonal, the worst lighting I have ever seen in a hotel room. Glaring cold white lights, almost blinding. As a bonus, no hot water in the morning.! 1

Location and access to transportation was difficult a little far from center for tourisms. In addition, breakfast time was till 10:00 a.m morning which is uncomfortable for Bangkok which is a city of night. The staff serving the breakfast were not friendly and grab items starting 10:00 am which was not good.

Very good potential if management is willing to update. - check in staff is not welcoming. Booked a double room but they gave us a twin room. Its common sense as i'm travelling with my wife. - all the staff seems very dated. There's no motivation to please the guests. - hotel is only focusing on catering to big groups, tour and flight attendants. - despite putting up the do not disturb card on door and pressing the dnd light. Housekeep still enters the room unannounced. ??? - room carpets is old and smelly. Bathroom is in need of upgrade or major renovations. White lightings in room, really? I can go on and on. Just not worth it.
