Khaosan Station Hostel

Cheap accommodation. Close to all night life but far away enough to get some sleep.

The location and the possibility to leave my luggage. Stayed at a double room on 2nd floor next to shared toilet. The room and the bathroom didn’t feel so clean. It was shabby. No hanger or shelves for clothes or towels. No soap. The shared bathroom was next door and I woke up all night due to people going to bathroom. The door was too thin. It was very cheap next to the bus station I was going to use early morning. So it was convenient for me to stay one night.

I loved the staff, thank you so much for be so helpful and kindness.

The bunk beds were the worst. Squeaky steel frames, leather mattress, bedsheets not holding on the spot. I don't think I slept more than 3 hours in a row on these beds. I slept on the bus better then here.

The location is very central and close to the busy streets, night markets, bars, restaurants and the bus station (for those heading to Koh Kood, Koh Chang and Koh Mak). It's just next to the bus station so it's very convenient if you have to catch the early morning bus. The personel was kind of indifferent and cold. The room wasn't clean at all, the bed was extremely hard and there are so many shoes at the entrance. The photos are quite inaccurate.

Near to Khaosan Road. Cold AC. Accommodating Staff/Owner. Very slow internet and you need to login the password and username every time which is quite annoying. Only 4 devices we can use at a time. Our room is located on the 3rd floor with no elevator - I almost collapse upon reaching our room. We are catching our breaths every time we go out and comeback to our room. We stayed there 4 days but we didn't see that they clean the bathroom - same tissue waste scattered on the floor, and they have this policy to remove the shoes/slippers inside. It feels really gross walking inside the washroom barefoot and knowing it has not been cleaned since the day we arrive. They should have atleast provided slippers to be used inside.

I couldn't say I didn't like it but it didn't feel like a hostel, the "living room" was almost empty, not really many people to get in touch with

Centrally located near Khao San and Rambuttri, but away from the noise. Room is simple, but has effective AC and private shower. Can't beat the price if you're trying to keep costs low. Would stay here again. There a lot of shoes in the lobby and I'm not convinced it's actual guests. It smells really strong. They should throw out old shoes that are not from guests.

The mattresses were very hard and a bit uncomfortable due to this. There was a weird smell on the corridor

The price and the location could not be beaten. I was just looking for somewhere to sleep while I celebrated the new year and I found an excellent spot. The bathrooms are small and difficult to keep clean. Only a single shower and toilet in each which makes it challenging to have comfort/privacy when taking care of hygiene.
