We got a smaller room than we booked

Close to most of activity Friendly staffs You have fill out all information eventually you give them password, breakfast is okey but to little choice if fruit I mean cut to cubed like sugar cubes spread out on the tray 10 cubes at the time, the shower is to small for people over weight. Other than that everything was okey

Location and pool Restaurant was just ok

Room was small

Location is excellent, just 600m away from river and Khao San Road. Hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood next to a small canal. Pool is nice, clean and great to rewind after exploring the city. Hotel itself is not too big, so feels cosy. The beds and cushions were rather hard, breakfast is a bit limited and basic - do not expect too much

Clean

Nice property, comfortable beds, nice pool, balcony on room. I fractured my back on this trip and staff was very helpful with bags and getting a cab. Was very happy with the value of this property. Only had breakfast once, it was a basic buffet.

The bathrooms could use some updating/repair.

The bed was like a rock. Everything else was great.

Clean and nice staff Shower curtain is not hygienic, toilet window to refresh was opening to hotel hall which is not good for privacy, no slipper provided, no chance to refresh the room by opening window due that there was no blocking staff for mosquitos, so room was smelling bad, no fresh air in the room, breakfast alternatives were weak.

great location, nice room and good breakfast not clean. staff were unable to deal with the issues

Very old , no value, foe this money I was going to stay and a modern 4 stars hotel at sukhumvit, but I aimed for thai experience, which was not there, every thing is old and not fresh like the sheets

The room was spacious and amenities comfortable. We did like the style of the room and its decor even if it's a tad tired. The bathroom was large, included a spa but the hot didn't work (we just ran the cold water which was warm enough anyway). The view was nice enough in the evening, overlooking the city even though many of the buildings surrounding the hotel are old and in dilapidated condition. The bed was comfy and linen was fresh. A couple of bottles of drinking water were provided daily plus more was obtainable from reception. The breakfast options provided were quite adequate with a fair selection and the fruit supplied was always delicious. You could dine at the hotel for other meals as well. They did have a ham and cheese spring roll kind of thing that was to die for. Yum! Staff were helpful, if a little difficult to understand at times, having the language barrier we had to deal with on both sides (my Thai is woeful). The hotel does have storage for your luggage should you need to leave it there once you check out, should you want to continue exploring before departing Bangkok, if you have a late departure planned. The room rates were very reasonable, but we would have happily paid more to stay in more comfortable, temperate conditions. Entry to the hotel is a short walk down a laneway along a canal so you need to cart your bags up and down with you. It was extremely hot and humid so by the time we got to the hotel we were sweating even though it wasn't far. The open foyer/lobby had no air-conditioning, and it would have been pointless anyway, and the fans did little to alleviate the heat and humidity. We know that the hotel cannot be blamed for the weather conditions, but its design makes it difficult to regulate the temperature within. There is a lift. As I have some mobility issues, I checked this before booking. However, you had to take stairs to get up to it and then from the lift we had more stairs to get up another level to our room. This was not clear from the information provided on the site. The lift was tiny and again not airconditioned. All the common areas of the hotel had no temperature control, apparently. Breakfast was served in the lobby/foyer area or courtyard near the swimming pool. Smoking was permitted in the courtyard and even the foyer from memory. Even if there was no smoking permitted in the foyer the smoke from the courtyard wafted in there regardless, so sitting in the courtyard was unpleasant at times. The courtyard was somewhat cooler than the foyer so it would have been nice to sit there except for the tobacco ordours. :( The air-conditioning in our room was in a bit of an odd spot and didn't really cool the room very well or evenly. The bathroom faced west and the air conditioning motor unit was under a bathroom window blowing in hot air. Once I realised this and closed the window the heat situation improved slightly but it was always very hot and humid in the bathroom. There's a large, shared balcony area leading to, and in front of, the rooms upstairs on the top floor, along with a couple of private balconies for our room.

Location, breakfast Nothing

We loved the quirkiness of this hotel. The room was a great size with both a separate bathtub and a walk in shower. Great location. Cool pool Nothing

Good location, tuktuk available to take you anywhere, very nice pool, great breakfast buffet choices. Delicious dinner and snacks available at the restaurant. Friendly staff. If anything, shower was cold and low pressure.

All outdoor seating areas were designated for smoking. There should also be non-smoking outdoor seating option. Thanks.
