Palette The Ex Capital Hotel Bangkok

Nothing There’s a gutter right in front of the the hotel. Rooms smell like gutter the exhaust fan above the bathroom doesn’t work anytime someone slushes you hit the water rooms are weird. We paid for balcony, but we were not allowed to use that we can smoke or drink there. There was charged for literally each and everything in the world one of the worst thing I’ve ever seen. Any time did you take a shower? Your bathroom fill up at least 2 inches. Inches complained twice. Nothing happened.

Away from the touristy areas! Laundry, 7-11 and trains are within walking distance.

Ex Capital Hotel was a pleasant place to stay. I cannot fault them or find fault with anything. Staff were friendly. Room was quite big. Neighborhood was good. Krung Thonburi BTS Rail literally a 7 minute walk from the hotel. I would most definitely return there. Thank you all for the pleasant time at your hotel. I can honestly not think of anything at Ex Capital that was not to like.

I really like the balcony. I love the working area of the room since it was a long table in front of the bed. I also like that there are plenty of electrical outlets in the room. Perfect when you are staying with friends or family. I think most of the things inside the room are quite old. There isn't also a good lighting the mirror inside the bathroom. Good thing, there was a balcony where we would do our make-up and get ready every morning thanks to the natural light.

Didn’t have my room ready! Never got to stay. Had a poor experience trying to make things work with the front desk staff - she probably didn’t know what to do herself. She kept talking in Thai.

They have super nice reception, she is super friendly.and the hotel is near to icosiam. They have delicious food The location is not central but its nice . 5 start anyway.

Room was a good size for 3 people Was told they don’t accept American credit cards

The location was perfect, near bts station, bus station and a lot of seven eleven near by! The light and I might said the room, we were literally one door apart from the elevator.

The location is great, the staff is really nice. Check in is almost 24 hours a day. So you can book last minute at night and show up near midnight and still check in. The hotelrooms are very clean and nice. 7 eleven a short 3 minute walk. And an even bigger one a bit further as well. They knew of a scheduled power outtage in the whole neighbourhood but did not mention it to the guests of the hotel. Instead we rushed outside due to a fire alarm going off. Their breakfast is not good value. They have a breakfast menu. But they have a seperate breakfast menu with two options that are not good at all.

Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, facilities that you need on very short walking distance. They had a neighborhood power outtage. That they knew would happen. And did not notify the people that stay there. The fire alarm went off and the power went out. The shower also stopped running remaining that time which was several hours. It was also when me and my wife were getting ready to check out. So very stressful to get out 5 stories down with no idea what was going on or staff walking by to calm down the ruckus. Breakfast included Is different than their breakfast menu. They put it up for everyone to see their “full menu” but as soon as you order it. They point at their “breakfast included” menu. Which is option A and B, both bland and not worth the money. Good if you are on a tight budget.

Absolutely great property IF YOU CAN GET A ROOM. I stayed here from December 1-13 and really enjoyed my time there. I had another stay scheduled for December 20-28. On December 19, my credit card was charged a cancellation fee. If I didn't see this credit card notification, I would have went back to Bangkok and been left stranded. These guys cancelled my booking and then CHARGED me for the cancellation. Apparently they overbooked the hotel which is weird because I booked nearly four months in advance. Very disappointed. But otherwise, if you can get a room, it is very nice.

Came to the hotel late after having a paid reservation and they said they have no room for me.

- -i tried to contact the staff before arrival date but no answer -on the check-in date, staff said no room for me because they had walk in customer so the room was full -staff said that it is the problem of the booking system and their system that didn’t link together -they offer me to go to other hotel in the same chain -the location, the road is so narrow for car

I like the price, value for money. The toilet was really small.
