Relatively good location, comfy lobby and entrance tables to chill, very spacious room and adequate amenities. Nothing much really.

Second time at the hotel, it was great until checkout when they tried a desperate game over a bedsheet to keep some of the deposit. Apart from that it was clean and the other staff were very nice, and it was a good location for what was planned, until the very end when they alienated someone over the equivalent of 15 down to 6 euro, explained below: Unfortunately when checking out the second time the staff pulled a sheet out with a tiny smudge on it and tried to scan 500bht out of me, then randomly it was brought down to 200. This kind of behavior was so utterly disgraceful that I unfortunately will never return to Swana and do not recommend it now, even though I was planning to before their shameful stunt over an easily washed sheet. If they are going to complain over an easily washable bedsheet to a return customer imagine what they will do to you. Plenty of hotels will not alienate customers over a sheet then change the price they tried to scam you out of in the middle of it. There are other nearby hotels. Nobody would go to a hotel ever if you had to worry about the bedsheets, just unbelievable.

It was close to Kaosan Road, it wasn’t noisy. We stayed a lot on the hotel’s terrace to eat/drink The room was very dirty, especially the shower. We were charged 30€ deposit at the beginning of our stay. When we gave them back the keys, they went and check the room. My girlfriend had her hair dyed, and when she washed her hair, some of the dye came off on the towel. They reported back to us and told them that it’s gonna come off in the washing machine. They said it is dirty and kept 10€ from our deposit (we negotiated with them a lot, because they wanted to keep all of the deposit for that towel). One of our friends was staying at the same hotel with us, had a little cut on her leg, and stained the bedsheets with blood. It was the smallest stain ever! And they charged her with 20€ for that. So be careful and take pictures if the room has problems and report them, because probably they will try to take your money for that. Someone said to us this thing

Good location, walking distance to centre and touristic spots. Staff very nice and friendly. Room clean and very comfortable mattress. I slept well and felt comfortable and looked after. Could do with a little renovation and refurbishment, especially the air-conditioner is a little old and noisy, but overall it was ok.
