We loved the location - walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor. We had personal parking and the little, thoughtful accents were so remarkably wonderful. The pool was a clutch feature for our boy and the breakfast was perfect. This is a wonderful stay for the entire family. I honestly did not have a single complaint!

Great location...park your car and walk to everything in Bar Harbor. Great breakfasts including fresh fruit, salmon, eggs and sausage, blueberry muffins, bagels, croissants, yogurt with many toppings, guacamole, cheese, meats, olives, etc. Little touches like whoopie pies at check-in and trail mix bags for your journey home. We didn't get to experience a s'more night, but they have those too. No complaints

Renovated and perfect. Comfortable bed, linens and bath supplies. The breakfast is wonderful as is the location. Back side can get noisy on Sunday night - delivery and trash trucks. Not much other than some street noise

Price was a little high, not a luxury motel for the price

Great staff, clean rooms and great location the the mail Street Price was a little high, not a luxury motel for the price

This property is reasonably priced (for Bar Harbor in high season). It has an excellent location - everything is walkable - it’s right in the downtown and comes with free parking. The staff were absolutely awesome - so friendly and accommodating! They make an effort to be “green”. There is a pool and breakfast was included. Nothing

Location! Location! The Villager was a very clean and updated motel. The location downtown allowed you to park the car and walk to shopping, restaurants and Bar Island. Bar island is not to be missed! The breakfast was a great way to start the day. The variety was excellent and food was fresh. Acadia was only a short drive away. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Parking could be challenging if you left in the evening. Be sure to request downstairs if you have difficulty with stairs.

We stay the villager year after year. It is always clean and you can’t beat the price and location. They have a great breakfast buffet included (not just muffins). The pillows are actually comfortable not just existing on the beds. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I requested first floor (for my elderly Mom) and they obliged no problem. They have a few nights where they do s’mores at the fire pit! My only complaint and it’s not a major one, is I wish they had assigned parking. It’s hard to carry everything when you have to park at the other end of the lot, but that’s my only one. We’ll be back again next year.
