Fantastic location - walkable to everything in town within a few minutes yet very quiet and private.

Martha and Tim have created a beautiful, welcoming place to stay. Their home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and relaxing. It was the perfect environment for my overnight work trip. The location was ideal—quiet, peaceful, and convenient to everything I needed in the Bar Harbor area. Tim prepared an outstanding breakfast the next morning that was both delicious and filling. He made taco omelets along with a fresh fruit parfait topped with whipped cream, and it was the perfect way to start the day. I only stayed one night, but I truly enjoyed my time there. I will definitely be booking with them again on my next trip to Bar Harbor. Honestly, I didn't have any complaints. Everything met or exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to staying here again.

Amazing location, close to shops and restaurants. Hidden away in a quiet one way street. Room was new and immaculate, HUGE, pictures don't do it justice. Bed was super comfortable, enormous bathroom and shower. Parking on site is a huge plus Tim and Martha were amazing hosts, shared plenty of tips and best hikes, swims, and restaurants. Do not skip breakfast! Martha is a trained chef, this isn't your normal b&b meal! Bonus welcome but two cute dogs. Can't wait to return. Nothing, perfect stay!

Our host, Tim, was a great resource for hiking and local activities. He also is a great cook. The suites are beautiful with a charming outdoor balcony and the bathrooms are larger than an nyc apartment. You are right in the hub of downtown Bar Harbor.

The location was perfect. Parking is expensive but we were able to walk from our location. The breakfast was wonderful. Loved everything about this place.

The location is wonderful and is close by to downtown Bar Harbor so you are a short walk from all the action and anything that you could want to do is accessible.

Location was great - within walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor. Breakfasts were delicious and different every day. Martha provided us with recommendations and information when asked. The place was very clean.

What's not to like?! My husband and I booked here because I read other reviews saying this was a great, convenient place to stay close to everything in town! So glad we chose to stay here because it truly was all that and MORE! Our host, Martha was a delight. ? Very personable, knowledgeable of the area and she sure can turn out a delicious breakfast! ? Canterbury Suites B&B is the perfect place for a little R&R. Great amenities, beautifully decorated, comfortable, spacious rooms and so welcoming. It wasn't hard at all to make ourselves at home. If we ever make a return visit to Bar Harnor, we will most certainly rebook here! Honestly, I can't think of any negatives! We were very happy and satisfied with our stay!

Martha and Tim made our stay great, the breakfast was gourmet style and different every day! Easy walking distance to Bar Harbor shops and restaurants. Definitely would recommend Canterbury for a relaxing adventure.

It was warm and inviting. We were greeted by Echo & Hammy the 2 resident dogs. The rooms were incredible! They were large and spacious. The bathroom was massive! Breakfast was absolutely delicious! The location makes downtown very walkable. The host was helpful and informative. We highly recommend Canterbury Suites B& B.
