Hearthside Inn

The staff is not readily available. They never provided clean towels, which I would expect without having to ask. I understand that no one is making up rooms any longer without requesting it.

The breakfast was delicious every day. We would’ve liked it to be served earlier so we could get a head start on the day. It was from 8-9:30am. The staff was very friendly and available. The location was easily walkable to the main areas. The bed was comfy with lots of pillows and blankets. Our issues were small ones and the good things about this place made up for those little inconveniences.

We loved our stay! Consider staying here if you want an affordable, quiet, cozy stay with delicious breakfast included!

We loved our 3-night stay at the Hearthside Inn! Juliana and her team provided a great experience, from the delicious breakfasts and snacks to the beautiful accomodations. The Inn is in a great location and we didn't have any challenges with parking. We look forward to returning!

I went here because i saw a review praising the breakfast, and another praising the staff. I want to say both were fantastic and definitely a wonderful place to stay.

Coffee is advertised to be ready at 5am. It was ready at 630am each morning.

Such a beautiful bed and breakfast, very walkable, delicious food every morning and tea time with snacks each afternoon, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I plan to stay here again.

Hearthside was such a pleasant surprise on a long road trip. First off, it beats almost any B&B I’ve ever experienced for cuteness appeal. The location is top notch. Very walkable, but just far enough from the bars to avoid any noise and shenanigans. The staff was incredibly friendly, the bed was very comfortable, and best of all, the breakfast was amazing. We had a bell pepper frittata. Chef’s kiss. Oh, and make sure to get there in time for 3pm tea time! The strawberry basil lemonade and baked goods were out of this world!

echoing what everyone has said- wonderful location, ample parking, outside garden seating, full breakfast served with care and intention, afternoon tea time with sweet treats each day, very quiet neighborhood, excellent laid back accommodating staff. couldn’t be better in many regards.

Great place to stay in Bar Harbor! All the staff were really helpful and kind. The breakfast and afternoon treats were delicious. It is so close to walk to all the restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very cozy stay, really felt at home. Easy walk to downtown and Bar Island. Super welcoming staff. Building is lovely.

What a great spot in Bar Harbor. Incredible location within walking distance of all Bar Harbor has the offer, but tucked away on a beautiful side street. The staff were AMAZING, and offered to make us breakfast sandwiches each morning for our hikes. Highly recommend a stay here!
