The motel does not answer the phone or return messages. They do not issue refunds due to flight cancellations. Poor customer service.

It was clean and quiet. Location was excellent. Very easy walking distance to shops restaurants and harbour area. I struggled with the price but it is a very expensive area of Maine

Bar Harbor is incredibly expensive. This was the cheapest hotel available. Yet it was $ 470 a night for a room with 2 full beds. Very basic motel. Clean, Courteous staff. But normally would go for under $100 bucks anywhere else. The problem is staying close to Acadia National Park is impossibly expensive. This is a cheap motel, for the price of a decent hotel in Manhattan. The price.

Great location while staying in Bar Harbor! Definitely would recommend this hotel!

Great location, helpful staff!!

If you just want a basic hotel to sleep in and be gone the rest of the day this is the place for you! It is definitely older with some rot in the bathroom walls and you can hear everything. The staff were nice, it was clean, and the location was ideal but it is the most basic low end hotel I’ve stayed in. Lower your expectations and it’s perfect.

Perfect for a quick stay two blocks from Bar Harbor main street. Park your car in their parking lot and walk anywhere in town during your stay. I loved that the staff is there 24x7. They were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and ready. Beds were a good quality. I would definitely stay again. Not too expensive. Nice grass area with chairs for sitting around outside.

Location is great! Walking distance to everything in downtown Bar Harbor. Room was clean, beds were a bit lumpy and pillows were okay. Staff was super nice. They had plenty of ice to fill our waterbottles and coolers. Easy to get to Acadia National Park for days of hiking and exploring. I wish that the bed was a bit more firm and was not lumpy in spots.

The bad and ugly: It is run down and nasty. This motel charges over $350.00 a night. Paneling on the walls is stripped off in places. The bathroom is tiny and has no ventilation. The privacy frosting on the bathroom window is mostly scrapped off, and there was no other window covering. The window did not lock. The bath surround was coming apart, bulging away from the wall. I put on a pair of clean, white socks, and it took only one trip across the carpet to be mud brown. After a few trips around the room, I didn't even want to keep the filthy socks on. The amenities are sparse. No microwave, no ironing board. The maintenance issues are not expensive to correct. An ironing board and microwave are not expensive additions. Not looking for luxury, but bare minimum, decent accommodations. At $350.00 + a night, this can be easily managed. This is nothing but taking advantage of the tourism pull, charging high rates, and providing run down conditions. Checking out, I walked in to the office; said, "We are checking out. I was "greeted" with a brusque "Put the key there, thank you." Not a; how was your stay, (likely afraid to ask) please come again, have a nice day. It wasn't busy. Just chatting. Awful.

Great stay!

I was worried about staying at a motel because I’ve only stayed at hotels, but this one was great! It was very clean and walking distance into downtown. Everything worked well and it was quiet at nice.

Horrible bed! Metal platform bed with a sponge mattress. Very utilitarian furniture and a cheap dirty looking rug. Not the quality I’d expect from a $400+ a night room. Advertised as quiet, but at check in clerk said we were lucky to be on 2nd floor bc it would be quieter. We booked, looked 3 hours later, left, and are still fighting to get charges removed. Terrible experience.
