I like the location very much. The politeness of the staff. I didnt like the room placements. I was unhappy with the fact that i paid premium amount and got an average room when i expected to get a beach view room. We were there for the experience and were disappointed with the same. Also, the restaurant was not upto the mark. Could enjoy the food as much.

We first came here 8 years ago for our wedding, and returning now with our 3-year-old daughter made it even more special. It feels like a place that has grown with us. Seeing a few familiar faces was such a nice surprise and says a lot about the team. Everyone is attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. A place that feels real, welcoming, and always worth coming back to.

We had a wonderful stay at Avani+ and truly enjoyed every moment. The resort is architecturally beautiful, with a thoughtful layout that makes everything feel close and convenient. Our room was lovely, comfortable, and well-designed. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and professional in every area. The pool is fantastic, with comfortable loungers and a beautifully designed surrounding area, including cabanas that create a relaxing and stylish atmosphere. We especially enjoyed dining at the “Somewhere” restaurant, which was excellent, with great food and wonderful service. The seafood-style buffet dinner was also outstanding. Breakfast deserves a special mention—it was exceptional. Everything is served in a closed, very clean environment with a strong emphasis on hygiene and healthy options. The variety was impressive, and in our opinion, it was the best breakfast we experienced among all the hotels we stayed at in the islands. We would also like to thank the hotel’s General Manager, Mr. Milan, who was charming and a pleasure to speak with, as well as Mr. Karthik. A special thanks to Mr. Randara, who welcomed us warmly and efficiently took care of any small issues we had. The gym is also very well equipped and enjoyable to use. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily return.

There are very few restaurants around. Everything is expensive.

Great pool, friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous beach, comfortable rooms, great food and wine menu! DJ at the pool was a bit loud! The bar/towel situation at the pool meant if you sat on the none beach side of the pool you had to walk a long way round to return towel, attract pool bar attention etc.

Date: January 21-24, 2026, 3 nights, Family, Stayed at the Premium One Bedroom Sea View Suite. Pros: Where do I even start with my review. Solid choice for a hotel in Mahe. With thousands of options, I’m glad I ended up choosing Avani+. We ended up just staying in the hotel as we got everything we need there. It’s comfortable and beautiful. Room: Value for money is good for the suite that we got. Quite spacious especially the bathroom and got all the basic amenities and kits. The bed is spacious and pillows soft. Lighting is a bit on the dark side but I understand that for resorts, low level lighting is the preference. The room we have is facing the ocean and has it’s own beachfront. The pool is quite close and plenty of outdoor chairs and bean bags to lay on. We got complimentary Prosecco and cake for our wedding anniversary. Amenities: plenty of beach areas, maazing backdrop of lush landscape and mountain, table tennis, billiard table, and plenty pf beach chairs, there’s sea activities like kayak, paddleboard as well as horseback riding, there’s yoga, ice bath, and massages. Their spa is quite good and has excellent offeringsx Staff: The staff is the heart of this resort. From the moment we checked in til we check out, we felt taken care of. Cons: - Plenty of flies especially when dining outdoors during the morning, - Need to install more fans and better ventilation in the common areas - Centralized booking system, particulary had difficulty with settling our yoga and ice bath bookings. - Maybe additional amenities like beach volleyball, tennis, or padel courts. But overall, Avani+ is a premium and solid choice. If I have a chance, I will come back and stay again.

The Food, the pool, the beach, the staff.. so comfortable with the baby. The air conditioner of the room was loud and we couldn't control it properly

The food and beverage service is amazing. The breakfast and all food options of the highest quality. The swimming pools and beach are amazing. Checking in was stress free and quick, no issues. Housekeeping is of a high quality and the property very clean. All staff very kind and helpful, also very professional. Unfortunately new years eve event package was good in terms of food, but no complimentary alcoholic drinks. The price of the package for the new years eve event it would of been possible to allow at least one glass of wine etc free or included. We notice this is a common practice amongst in the seychelles high prices with no complimentary drinks. Avanti should lead and change their policy for events and include drinks, this would make them more appealing and different

Can’t think of better place that has everything under one roof, from facility, professional staff (namely Leyra and the front desk assistant manager). Beach is a bit rocky with little swimming area especially whenever there’s a low tide.

A kids club/play room would make it perfect

They said they just renovated so the place looks in really good shape the rooms are grate The staff are really nice and helpful The first night we had dinner bufffe that was a bit expensive and not my taste but all in all a great experience The restaurant is a bit expensive and the dinner that we had was not really my taste however the breakfast is reach and satisfying

Brand new, evertything works. Great attentive and helpful staff. Kitchen staff very accomodating to unusual requests. Beach and pool close by, and comfortable with plenty of room and beach chairs. However we stayed in the shoulder season and the hotel was with low occupancy - so during high season the same place can be crowded and stuffy as the pool and dining hall are relatively small. 1.Food is bland- like in so many other resorts. 2. Since the hotel has opened in june 2025 there are no beach or sea activities, no gym , ball games etc which are expected from a resort at this price range. No indoor activity -especially for rainy days,- only a pool table and a ping pong table are offered.
