The hostel, bedding, and bathrooms were all really clean. My room had only four people and was really quiet and comfortable. The A/C worked well and the water pressure was good. The whole building was very colourful and cool too. The cost for a towel was too high, as was the cost for a lock to store your belongings. The cost per load of laundry was also quite steep, as was the cost for breakfast. After the initial booking, everything else is charged at an inflated rate.

The staff were super friendly and helpful

Huge bed and comfortable. Felt like a private room. Smart building with unintrusive lights. Really enjoyed it.

Such a lovely setup and place to stay at.

The best hostel i've stayed in in Barcelona. Beds have curtains, a private shower. Hostel offers a lot of activities and staff was great and welcoming. Yeah it's a bit far from the center but still not that hard to get to. Definitely recommend.

Room is too small. Sheets were not changed when I arrived (late evening)

Great facility. Really nice common area with a bar. They even served hot food at a nominal price.

It was clean and the location was very convenient from a train station.

Comfortable bed, bathroom could have used a bit more cleaning while I stayed but it was ok. I met some nice people but I wouldn’t say the hostel is the most social. I didn’t want to be right in the center of the city so I was ok with the location but it’s a bit of a walk or train ride to the main sights!

Facilities are all good quality A variety of games for companies including darts which is perfect + they offer activities every evening! QR codes and lifts made my eyes twitching Every day, please stop using qr codes as it something fancy let’s keep it as in 00th

Reaching the higher beds can be difficult and if you are not alert you might fall and injure yourself. If you have mobility problem and have any physical limitation, ask the reception to give you lower beds. Another problem is that inside the beds can be very warm in hot days. The room has air-condition but the cool air does not reach inside the beds.

There was strange odor everytime we entered the room however the host told us that it was impossible to open the windows due to hotel regulations of barcelona.

The location was great and very convenient for everything. The only downsides were having to rent towels for 5 euros and using a QR code to enter the building. You have to check your email every time before entering, which was a bit of a hassle for me. They should have provided a bracelet or card to tap instead.

One of the best things about Amistat is its excellent location. It is very close to the metro and bus stations, making it easy to get around Barcelona. There is also a park nearby where guests can relax and enjoy the surroundings. The hostel is conveniently located near a Mercadona supermarket, several cafés and bars, and a 24-hour convenience store, which is very helpful for travelers who need to buy food, drinks, or other essentials at any time. Very disappointing experience. The gray bed linen on my bed had a bad smell when I arrived, which made it obvious that it had not been properly changed or washed. I also personally witnessed a housekeeping staff member simply folding the gray linen after another guest checked out instead of replacing it with a clean one. In addition, the curtain around my bed also had an unpleasant odor, making the sleeping area feel dirty and uncomfortable. These issues raise serious concerns about the hostel's cleanliness and hygiene standards. Reusing unwashed bed linens and not properly cleaning bed curtains is extremely unhygienic and unacceptable. Clean bedding and a clean sleeping environment should be a basic standard for every guest. I hope the management takes this issue seriously and improves their housekeeping practices.

The location is great! The room has no AC control. You have to contact the reception.
