Location to cruise Port. This was our 2nd time staying there. Staff booked us a taxi to port. 10 min. before schedule arrival they cancelled.

Location was excellent, located right on La Rambla and close to so many sites, restaurants, shops. Close to the Mediterranean. So much within walking distance. Everything was good.

We had a great stay at Hotel Arc La Rambla, mainly due to its fantastic location right in the heart of Barcelona, making it easy to explore the city. The room was basic but comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The air conditioning was excellent, which was especially appreciated after warm days exploring the city. We also liked the safe and cupboard space available in the room. The cute terrace was a lovely feature and a nice place to relax. The luggage storage lockers were very easy to use after checkout (available for a small additional fee of €2 per locker), which was very convenient. There were only a few minor things that could be improved. There was no kettle provided in the room, although one was available upon request. The room also only had paper cups and no cutlery, which limited the ability to have drinks or small snacks in the room comfortably.

The bathroom in the room was big and bright and clean. The housekeeping staff is excellent. The room had no natural light or airflow. It felt like a prison cell. We had no desire to stay in the room for any reason other than to sleep. We were also solicited by vendors constantly in the neighborhood. Not the fault of the hotel, but I believe we could have stayed in a better neighborhood for the same price or cheaper. Also, it was advertised as soundproof but I'm assuming that just meant from the outside. I heard people from other rooms moving their furniture at all hours of the night. We definitely overpaid for this room I don't recommend staying in la Rambla if you like calm environments free of tourist traps.
