My shower was clogged up and that was annoying

Easy to check in and out. Great location inside the city. The mall beside it had great restaurants. Pool was a great area. Room was clean and extremely comfortable. A lot of construction around the property, but that’s almost all of Barcelona.

The pool is very very nice. Barcelona is very hot in summer and the pool in the top floor is very nice. The location is very good, near a shopping center and a metro station. The room itself has two very big issues: you can see the shower from the bed, there is no way to close the shades. That means zero privacy. Based on that rooms are only for couples. you can not stay there with a friend etc. The second issues is that the view is to a metal shades outside the window. Last issue: I asked for a room in a higher floor and the gut said there was not available, i think he simply did not wanted to give it to me.

Location The shower did not have any pressure and when it does it would go from super cold to burning hot and vice versa

Close to metro. Starbucks inside. Walkable, safe area. Clean and updated rooms. Great pool. Shower door too short but not a big deal.

I arrived to the hotel 05:45 am, my room was ready and they check me in, out of this world!!!! Everything else perfect The pool and bar close early at 20:00

Every member of the staff I met was friendly and helpful. There were a couple of minor issues: the TV remote did not work, and the sink stopper in the bathroom did not work. Both issues were resolved promptly when I brought them up to the front desk.

Location in front of Plaza Espana, room and facilities. Breakfast was below average.

The room is very spacious. The locaiton is great for going to exibition at Fira de Barcelona. There is a very busy restaurant across the hotel. And, there is a Starbucks right at 1st floor. The breakfast is not that great. The elavator is a bit slow. The last day, the cleaning staff start cleaning my room without me checking out.

Perfect location, great staff, clean rooms, everyone friendly, outstanding view. Someone wrote negative about that you can see outside from shower - the sunblind is electric and operated by buttons directly from shower! Great feature.

Location was wonderful. Beds were very comfortable. Pool closed too early

The light switches were very weird, especially to switch on and off the bathroom lights. The bathtub had a window to the rest of the room, not very private. There were not enough plugs and they were inconveniently located. The hotel room's interior architecture tries to be modern but it lacks a bit of pragmatism.

Bathroom sliding door didn't close properly on our room, and there were weird noises coming from the a/c at night.

The location

The first guy I encountered on early check-in was surly and unfriendly. I saw them giving rooms to those who arrived much later than me and said it’s because the booked deluxe rooms. Such sorry excuses for such obvious discrimination.

You know, when you don’t really remember where you’ve booked yourself, I’d somewhat lost track in the time between the reservation and the actual stay, it’s a bit of a shock when the first thing you see is a Starbucks. The hotel shares the building with the much‑discussed coffee chain on the ground floor. Or the other way around, that’s also possible. If there’s one thing I have a real aversion to, it’s this ethically questionable company. Had I been traveling alone, I probably would have left. Yes, I’m rather principled. Anyway, once we stepped inside, everything this hotel has to offer more than made up for that first impression on the pavement outside. Super friendly, helpful staff at the front desk, a good room with excellent beds, and an overall sense of calm. There are a few signs of wear here and there that have slightly overstayed their welcome, but despite that, it’s a very pleasant place to unwind after a day of wandering around Barcelona. Perfectly located next to a metro station on the red line. And then the breakfast, people, you hardly ever see something like this. What a choice, what a display. The people responsible for that deserve a statue. Truly, absolutely top‑notch. I don’t like doing it, and I don’t do it often, but in this case I feel compelled to fill in the “what didn’t you like” field. Please bear with me, once again, this is a matter of principle. I struggle with the overzealous green frenzy in which absolutely everything must give way. Everything. All the pleasant, enjoyable, and comfortable things that actually make a day, a trip, or a stay, worthwhile now seem inherently suspicious. In this case: the water supply in the bathroom. Virtually no water pressure, or an ultra‑frugal, water‑saving showerhead turned up to eleven. Simply unbearable. And above all: the exact opposite of pleasant and comfortable, unless that’s somehow considered part of the “experience” these days ;-) And all of this, judging by the stickers on the mirror, in the noble pursuit of making a difference in water consumption. On a global scale, of course, completely irrelevant, but excellent for a big fat checkmark in the environmentally conscious column. And so we all carry on, feeling wonderfully virtuous, without a shred of measurable impact. But hey, it feels good, and that apparently counts for something now. If it were my hotel, I’d do precisely the opposite and advertise it loudly. “Yes, water actually comes out of our showers :-)” In the end, five minutes under a genuinely good shower is almost certainly better across the board, even on the green ladder, simply because it’s over faster. But then again, nuance doesn’t sell nearly as well as a sticker on a bathroom mirror…
