Clean rooms, easy to get around and very central to most of barcelona breakfast was a bit simpler than the price might entail, nothing bad and tasted very good just a bit basic.

Bathroom had tub, shower, toilet and bidet. Even a little fridge for chilling wine and a desk. Loved the wood trim in the rooms 1-A non-smoking facility but People were smoking in the rooms on my floor which is a fire hazard. Barcelona does not have a fire code to prevent it. 2-I ordered room service within the posted time frame(must order by 6pm as I recall) but no food ever arrived. I had requested to pay upon arrival which was a choice provided. Room service is provided via QR code that leads to an outside third party (found a lovely restaurant half block away “Records” that I highly recommend)

The breakfast was pretty good with plenty of choice each morning. Staff were mostly very friendly. Found a rotting piece of fruit underneath the bedside table in our room, reported to reception, the guy said he would personally take care of it but it was still there when we got home that evening. Booking.com advertised the hotel as including a bar, room service and outside space. None of those existed - recent change of owners apparently. Basic stuff like no tissues despite there being a tissue box in the bathroom, a kettle being provided but no tea or coffee making stuff.
