Best possible location The room was way too small without any view. For the amount we paid- 300 EUR per night, we felt like we could’ve gotten a decent sized room. its a very boutique hotel with a very small reception area. Staff was nice but the place was too small and not worthy of a 4 star. We enjoyed our stay overall but these were some disappointments

Location was in the heart of L'Eixample, one of central Barcelona's most prominent and upscale districts within walking distance to a lot of tourist locations and very close to metro. It is a beautiful boutique hotel with all the amenities including a gym, pool and on location restaurant. I can’t say enough about the staff who were simply amazing. Shower did not have a door so water splashes everywhere. Shower spray didn’t have great pressure. No wash clothes.

Excellent in terms of quality of ingredients and healthier options. Love the different types of bread , fresh orange juice and the staff that does the eggs. All staff greet the customers in the hotel, whether cleaning lady, waiters etc Gym and pool really really small

Having terrace made a big difference. One improvement I would suggest is to address a smell when entering the room. It wasn’t too strong but didn’t smell fresh The smell in the room

The air conditioning was malfunctioning and it took four separate reports (and four different responses from the front desk) within the first 24 hours before maintenance was finally sent and confirmed there was in fact a problem with the thermostat and temp regulator. The bedsheets had visible red stains on them, even if they appeared washed. Housekeeping did not restock the coffee during the stay.

Location is good, within walking distances of major tourist attractions. The hotel blends well with the elegant and historic surroundings. Staff at the front desk are friendly and willing to help. The bedding causes some inconsistencies, as two twin beds are put together but with separate bed sheets. You need to separate the beds to get the bedding ready, then put together again for the night.

The hotel was wonderful in every way: location, cleanliness, staff, rooms. I am very particular when I travel, because a disappointing hotel can ruin a vacation. This hotel exceeded my expectations from the lobby,to the bar, to the rooms, and most especially the super nice staff. The location cannot be beat. I can’t wait to return.

We were unaware that a city marathon on the day of our departure had closed multiple roads. The front desk attendant went above and beyond by personally walking my luggage to an open street so we could hail a taxi.
