The staff goes into your room when you are not there.

Centrally located. Can walk to the beach and within Gothic Quarter. It is quite near to the bus stop and metro station. The reception is 24/7 hence it makes it easy for me for my early morning flight. The room is quite big but bunk beds are not good. The clearance of bottom bed to rop bed is not high enough and you cannot site. The toilet and shower room is common for the whole floor but not sure if they are adeqaute for all the guests. The kitchen is just okay and not so cozy.

Good location

You get what you pay for it’s good enough, but don’t expect anything. Would do it again if on a budget. The elevator

The staff, the layout and the location was fantastic Nothing

Fee due at check-in was higher than Booking.com stated. Beds are ok. No AC..just a fan and room was hot and can only imagine if it was summer.

Private room was perfect for our group of 5 and we felt very safe and able to leave our luggage without issue
-
Simple standard beds with lockers and enough space. Close by toilets bathroom and lift. Kitchen facilities and lounge areas. Nearby lots of restaurants and close to the marina and beach as well as the old city. Lift seems a drama queen. Noisy. Rooms over looking the street are better off

Location, clean , helpful staff

Overall, this hostel was a really good fit for what we needed. The location was excellent, super central with easy access to major tourist sites and transit around Barcelona. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place was clean throughout our stay. I also appreciated being able to use clean restrooms when needed, even outside of check-in/check-out timing. They were also able to store our bags before check-in. The biggest downside is that the interior feels dingy and worn down. It’s definitely a “you get what you pay for” kind of place. That said, for Barcelona, it was one of the more affordable options in a great area, so I still think it was a solid value overall. We are rarely in the room and it was a really good homebase and central to come back to.

Thanks stuff

the bathrooms need to be updated, both showers on my floor were broken.. Upgrading to door knobs with key cards would be a worthy investment. Right now they have actual keys that you have to leave at the front desk when you leave for an extended amount of time. Also they're noisy wen entering and exiting the room. The kitchen could use more in the way of cooking supplies.

The staff were friendly despite the language barrier. The reception was open 24-hours. Old architecture and beautiful neighborhood. Rather cheap but no value! Unfortunetly I cannot recommend this place. Everything is just bare minimum with the least facilities. There was 1 toilet for girls and 1 for boys for a whole floor, and they were almost always occupied. Showers had low privacy and the shower head was not the best. The mirror in the girls' shower was awful with many marks. There is no hair dryer in the bathroom, you had to get it from the reception downstairs everytime. The toilet was small, the sink water was only cold and it was freezing, and there was no paper or towel to dry your hands. The bunk beds were noisy, the walls were thin so we could hear other rooms' noises so much. As if the noise of the restaurant in front of the hostel was not annoying enough at night!! The neighboorhood did not feel so safe after 9:00 p.m. also in the mornings there were always some drunk or homeless laying around the corners. Overall I am unhappy with my stay and I think I could find a better place to stay.
