Mar, who checked us in and helped us the entire time we were there. She was delightful and VERY necessary for us!

The AC didn't work, the staff didn't mention anything. The water suddenly stopped working while I was taking a shower and no more hot water available until next day.

Excellent Location. The extra Tourist charge, which I did not have to pay in a Madrid Hostal.

Expect to hear a lot of noise from neighboring rooms, and to cope with sewage smell in the private bathroom of the room.

we felt like in one bunker: everything very dark, no window in the room to the exterior: the existing window was with a wall and stank like sewer when you opened it - no direct light nor fresh air from the outside the beds and matrasses should have been changed a few years ago! in the bathroom there was a lot of mold in the sealing.

Close to many activities, the staff, Mar was a huge help since this was our first time in Barcelona.

Clean, comfortable and Mar and her helper were incredibly helpful again as we went back after our cruise to spend one more night in Barcelona.

Very very helpful lady at reception went beyond her needs to help me settle in. Top service, would recommend to anyone who needs a quick stay and out to explore in Barcelona.

Location, cleanliness and facilities (and staff) were all fantastic. Unfortunately, there is no sound-proofing NONE, so it is possible to hear everything in the hallway. In addition, I was in room 205 which has a soil stack (for sewerage) and so every time someone used the toilet, flushed the toilet or showered I could hear the water running down the sewerage stack. Too much noise all night long.

The location was absolutely amazing, gothic quarter is one of the best areas in the city in my opinion and it was close to the Marina and beaches. Walk to Barcelona Cathedral was only 10 minutes and close to the metro to get anywhere else. I saw a lot of other reviews saying "you get what you pay for" but I think it was worth every penny and exceeded my expectations. The price was more than fair. Also off some other reviews the only front desk person we saw working the whole time spoke a fair amount of English and we were able to easily communicate. Clean bathroom, comfortable beds and a balcony with a pretty lookout to the courtyard.

It was okay for an overnight stay. Location is also okay, there's a grocery nearby and Train Station is also just around the area.

Major landmarks are within walking distance. The accommodation is clean and the beds are comfortable. The hosts are kind and hospitable. All in all, highly recommended. There was no wardrobe in our room, which could be inconvenient for longer stays.

The experience overall was good, the people are nice, the room service is on point, we had a small incident where the house-keeping just open the door while we were sleeping, but we didn't had the "Do not disturb" sign on the door, so it's fine, I believe she didn't know we were there, no issue. The location was amazing

the location is close to Barceloneta, the gothic quarter and many other places to visit the 2 single beds were annoying for a couple like us, they slipped away and we ended up sleeping on the floor.

Clean room. Very good location. Good value. Room is small and basic. if you are looking for convenient location and basic room this is fine. Check in reception lady was very nice and helpful. room is smaller than expected. Manage your expectations if you come. You will get good value and clean room.
