HOTEL MEDICIS

Clean and comfortable hotel not far from Sagrada Família. My room was a good size and so was the bathroom. Nice big terrace too. The staff was friendly. Thank you !

Very good option right near the city center. Location is almost perfect - many restaurants and cafes nearby, plus a boulevard leading all the way to Sagrada Familia. Rooms were spacious, modern and clean, bathroom was also clean and comfortable. Sheets and towels are of good quality. There are no extra facilities/options in the hotel; no breakfast option (but that's not too bad as there are many places in three minute walk). AC had a strange smell when I first turned it on the first time (although this has been the case with many hotels in Spain for some reason).

The fridge turns off when you take the card out of the entry slot by the room's door, so my drinks were never cold, walls a bit thin. I could hear a baby cry in another room.

Ik heb een geweldig verblijf gehad in dit hotel in Barcelona! De locatie is perfect, dicht bij de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden, restaurants en het openbaar vervoer. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk, gastvrij en altijd bereid om te helpen. De kamer werd elke dag schoongemaakt en was altijd netjes. De airconditioning werkte uitstekend, wat erg prettig was tijdens de warme dagen. Ook was ik erg blij met het balkon en het mooie uitzicht – een heerlijke plek om even te ontspannen. Al met al is dit een fantastisch hotel dat ik zeker kan aanbevelen aan iedereen die Barcelona bezoekt. Ik zou hier zonder twijfel opnieuw verblijven!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Medicis. Very close to bus stop (next on the corner), Only 7 minutes to Sagrada Famila. Room equipped with mini refrigerator, safety box, kettle, TV, a table with chair, cabinet. From airport we took metro L9 and L5 to the hotel. Plenty of restaurants near the hotel. Room was clean and the staffs were very friendly and helpfull. I will stay at Medicis Hotel if i visit Barcelona again None

The location is good, you have access to bus right on the street You basically have walls of paper, you can hear everything

Location This hotel is a joke. The walls are so thin + there is a locked door connecting to the next room. You could hear a pin drop, let alone people talking, having sex, etc. It should be illegal to rent hotel rooms with so little insulation. Its basically impossible to get a good nights sleep if someone is in the room next to you.

This is our second stay, and as previously, we were pleased with the place and the people there. Location is top, and you're getting a very comfortable and clean place to stay with extremely kind and friendly staff. Definitely will select it again! Nothing. You're getting what you've paid for, even more.

Hand soap was limited, and the hair dryer was not working properly but we asked the receptionist and gave us a new one.

Good location near the metro. The room was small but clean and did the job for 2 nights. Not too much street noise despite the location and it being a weekend. I would stay again for a short stay. My limited interactions with the front desk were pleasant. No major downsides but a couple small things. My room happened to have a connecting door to the room next to it. Although it was locked i had no control over the lock and I was not sure if the occupants in the next door room could unlock it from their side. I think this also affected the soundproofing between rooms. The second night when my neighbors arrived late I could hear everything they were doing. There also appeared to be a leak of some sort in the ceiling of the bathroom.
