AC Hotel Sants by Marriott

Location , and my flight was delayed due to storms. And I did not check in till 11PM, but the staff was ready for me after a long day Check out time is 12 noon, I asked for 1 PM and was not accepted. It all worked out, but an extra hour would have been more accommodating.

Hidden gem with incredible staff and good facilities. Sitting in the middle of all the construction at Barcelona Sants.

Location near Sants station was perfect for our needs. Hotel room was very quiet. Room was a good size, bed was very comfortable. Powerful shower Staff were friendly and accommodating. Toilet was claustrophobic. The lighting was either all or nothing, we were unable to work out only to have the bedside lights on.

- Spacious and clean room. - Convenient location near the train station. - Luggage could be left at the hotel before check-in. - Very slow check-in: We waited around 40 minutes despite having already provided all the necessary information earlier. - Only one receptionist was at the front desk, which caused significant delays. - We had to repeat the entire check-in process, even though we had been told that only the room key would be needed once the room was ready. - Basic information was not provided, such as breakfast hours. We had to ask ourselves. - Breakfast starts at 8 AM, which seems quite late for a hotel near a train station, particularly for guests with early trains. - The breakfast box was disappointing, containing an unsealed sandwich, an apple, yogurt, muesli, an industrial juice, and a bottle of water. - The room was prepared for one person instead of two. - There were many ants in the bathroom, which raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. - The headlight switch turn on all the room' lights instead of just the lamp near you, disturbing your companion.

It was literally across the road from Barcelona Sants station. We were greeted by Ana on Reception who was really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with good air conditioning, a huge comfortable bed and good sized shower and WC. Ana also directed towards a little plaza a couple of minutes walk where we could get a drink and something to eat. (A little note if you’re using it for it’s proximity to the station at the time of writing (August 2026) there was nowhere in the area to buy provisions for travel, not even a mini supermarket on the station concourse) Nothing, it was great.

Great location, delicious breakfast, comfortable room and bed, air con worked well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Shower pressure was incredible, better than my house and any hotel I’ve stayed in.

Booking in was easy and the staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is situated close to the station and lots of restaurants, just down the side alley behind the hotel are some hidden gems of places to eat in a square! There wasn't anything we didn't like, it was perfect for our needs.
