Hotel Best Front Maritim

Pros: Clean rooms, spacious bathroom, modern style, comfortable beds. Staff graciously allowed us to check in early. Location was great, far from the noise and traffic of the city but a short quick taxi would get you there. Easy walk to many great restaurants and the beach was across the street. Cons: None

Location was good Never mind in order to get your own you had to go in the basement get off that elevator go around the corner get on another elevator and go to your room The room dated

It was very nice and clean, close to the beach and good restaurants

Rooms were overall nice, staff was pleasant and helpful One of the towels we received was dirty. Elevators were not functioning properly and took ages to come + they fit only 4 people with one go, which makes them extremely busy most of the time. Breakfast experience was mediocre, as food was relatively cold + the first morning there was a lack of plates and kitchen tools available, making us wait for almost 10 minutes before eating.

The staff were wonderful. Only issue with staff was in the dining room and bar where they only had one waiter/hostess/bartender for the whole facility who was amazingly friendly. The ladies at the reception ares were great, very friendly and helpful. The whole facility needed to be renovated! Broken tiles, water stained walls, worn out furniture, etc. Rooms were worse than a $9.99 motel, bed was hard and lumpy as was the pillows, water stains on the walls, chipped furniture, poor access to food, no washcloths, poor TV selection for an American. Just depressing to come back to the hotel after a day in Barcelona.

The only thing i didn’t like was the floor not being mopped while the room was fixed, also would recommend onetime use flip flops because the water would submerge from the bathroom to the rest of the room.

It was really cold at night. I mean freezing. I spoke with the staff but they offered only an additional blanket. It was 11 C in Barcelona but they did not turn on the heater/AC at night. I felt like sleeping on the street with a roof. Never again

Clean, calm, good atmosphere and friendly and helpfull staff

The facilities were fine. We had booked a double room, but they gave us a twin room, and when we asked why, they told us that we are out of double rooms (they could have not accepted the double room reservation). Also, the bed sheets had blood stains on them, and we found an insect on the bed.

Me and my wife booked a sea view room (paid extra for it) and our view was a brick wall. Approached the staff and they offered no assistance whatsoever.

Nice location Restaurant not open due to being Sunday. Morning staff was rude and speaking in another language . It was a tall male around 4am I didnt get his name. But very dissatisfied with his attitude.

The front desk was over the top helpful and helped us negotiate the buses and taxis She greeted us on Oct 24 at 930 am and checked us in early. We can’t recall her name Oct 26 checked our bags before we left No drawers in the room and very stuffy Opened the windows and got bitten by bugs
