Maldà Singular Hotel

No breakfast just complementary coffee, water, teas, juice, croissant, chocolate cup cake. There are bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants nearby if you want to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. No wash towels provided but it's not deal breaker. In fact, most hotels in Barcelona do not provide wash towels. You get face towels and dry towels and floor towels. Plenty of soap and shampoo. Good hot water for shower.

My room was close to the lobby and unfortunately it was pretty loud outside and I could hear everything. Door/ walls are not too thick.

Excellent room and staff!!

Great location. Very comfortable stylish room. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. There is no marked entrance to the hotel. I would have been left outside in the dark if it was not for a guest that assisted me with gate to the mall entrance and elevator. I helped another guest when they arrived as well.

Once we found the elevator, smooth sailing! Staff was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and overall excellent. We traveled with friends. Our room was small but clean and comfortable! This hotel was located in old town area which was exactly where we wanted to be! Thank you. We will return and stay again. Was a little tough to find which was my fault for not reading the email that was sent.

No a/c in room and lobby. Mold in shower. No chair in room. We have stayed at many hotels and the value for the room was too high.

I had 3 rooms. The air conditioner did not work in 2 of the rooms. This was during a heat wave. The check in process was too slow. Location not good.

Nice size rooms and bathrooms Need signs in mall and detailed instructions on how to get there. The taxi could not get to the hotel due to blocked streets. Google maps was not useful Because the hotel is in a mall.

It’s perfect. Exceptional design. We are architects and care about that! Finding it at first was a tiny bit tricky but actually that made the place more of a hidden gem and authentic.

I enjoyed my stay here very much! First it has an amazing location, in the center of the gothic quarter, close to a metro station, it's located above a small shopping center, and was very easy to find. The hotel staff was pleasant, and it felt clean and smelled fresh. The room itself felt clean and fresh, and was nicely designed, with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was large, and water pressure was great. And a small detail, the towels were large and it was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend! While there was no noise form the street, there's some noise from inside the hotel, but it didn't bother us.

Cozy and comfortable

Went out for breakfast. Only one chair, inadequate for two guests. No work space (desk, small table, ledge??) for laptop use. Queen bed was quite high for us, (both elderly and under 5ft 6"). had to use chair to get into bed.

Great location, very clean and tidy room, really liked the toiletries. The person who checked us in noticed it was my birthday on my Passport and surprised us with a bottle of Cava once we had settled in. Location was perfect for us, close to cool shops and restaurants and easy to get to and from the airport on the Bus which drops you at Placa Catalunya, 8 minute walk from the hotel.

The location is amazing! I paid for a suite but the room they gave us was NOT a suite. They tried to claim the desk was the sitting area (as guaranteed for every suite in their website). They did eventually move us to a true suite but the experience and employee’s attitude soured the stay. The sink and bath tub area of the bathroom was great, however the shower and toilet configuration was odd. They were crammed into a small section do the bathroom with the toilet less than two feet directly across from the shower. You couldn’t open the shower door out very far. The room showed wear and tear but overall a good value for money.

The location was great, the bathroom is big, the staff was nice The bedroom is smaller than I thought, but was ok The cleaning was not very good when we checked in (there was dust in the room and hair on the shower walls from previous guest), but the staff cleaned in the next day.
