Hotel Onix Fira is in a fantastic location with extremely easy access to everywhere—you can get around quickly by both bus and metro, and many places are within walking distance. The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. Honestly, this is an opportunity not to be missed in Barcelona, and if I visit again, I will definitely book this hotel. Thank you! Honestly, everything was great! I didn't experience any issues during my stay, and everything went smoothly.

Very noisy construction work all day long from 8 until 18:00, without any transparency.
-
Fantastic location for the family and excellent air condition in the rooms during the heat wave of our stay!
-
Breakfast was below average, the beds were on wheels and moving when you tried to turn around in the bed. Moreover, the walls felt like being made from paper, you really could hear the conversations from the rooms around or above you, like those people were in the same room.

Location Overpriced for the day

Staff, location
-
The room is not sound proof and there was a lot of noise from the street and the other rooms until midnight. Although the room is big, there is no proper desk or closet to be used as well as some amenities missing such as tissue paper, laundry bags etc. At this price, (around 300 a night), one woukd expect more..

Noise in the hotel

The location was around some good places to eat and the staff were friendly and helpful, otherwise it was very disappointing. Room was never fully cleaned, there was a medicine capsule in the bathroom when we arrived and when the beds were made the next day it was still there, along with the bar soap we used on the sink, so it never actually got "cleaned"

The amenities were great and the balcony was gorgeous! The location was perfect and is super accessible. The hotel breakfast was not advertised correctly and was actually more expensive.
-
The location was really great. Extremely close to public transport. Also, the mall. 1. The room walls are extremely thin. You can hear what's happening in the next room. 2. The room cleaning was super bad. Even after cleaning it would be dirty. 3. Beds are horrible. 2 single beds always split. 4. Staffs are new and barely know anything.

Facilities in the room were less than 2 star hotel. No cupboard. No water kettle or coffee. Very noisy. You can hear people talking in your next room. Moving beds, literally. When you get up, just it moves. We had sleepless nights due to the noice. I do not recommend this hotel except for the location. We did not book for the breakfast. We were lucky that we did not book it. We had a look into the breakfast room and saw very few choices.

Since the hotel was full, the view of our room wasn't very well but the staff showed great effort to change it.

* Location * Friendliness of the reception staff * Room interior design This was not a cosy stay. * Barely any natural light as the "view" was a big wall blocking everything (avoid the room ending with 06, if possible. It should be offered at a discount) * Uncomfortable artificial light in the room * Marble floor exposes all the dirt and stains that need mopping * VERY poor sound proofing, you can constantly hear door slamming, conversations of other guests and cleaning staff, the ever so annoying dragging of the furniture (beds, I assume) across the floors in other rooms

The breakfast wasn't particularly good.

The price for this hotel was overrated. Because of the exhibitions they made almost 2000 euro for 4 nights, which is way too much for this kind of accommodation. And it’s not fare to put this price on this property
