SM Hotel Teatre Auditori

The bed is comfortable and cozy. The property is very clean and tidy. We stayed for one night for catching our flight at BCN. We did asked if we can check out late for 30 mins longer but they refused. Although , we checked in after midnight.

Big room with lots of space and great functional AC The bed was very hard and the room very basic. Nothing extra with this hotel even if the price was indicating that I was paying for something more than a bed and shower.

The room was fabulous, plus the breakfast was excellent with a large selection of food items. The air conditioning was very noisy so I had to turn it off. The hairdryer didn’t work, although staff did say they would have delivered another if I had let them know.

Firstly, all the reception staff were excellent, of particular note were the lovely Paula and charming Sunny. Both could not have been kinder or more helpful offering useful advice on things to do and places to eat. Also, a lovely man who arranged to change our room when the first one proved a little too noisy. He also was kindness itself and gave us an alternative room at the back of the hotel which was wonderfully quiet (Sorry I can't remember your name!). The rooms were spotlessly clean, not small for Spain, and had all the necessary toiletries, kettle and coffee etc. The aircon worked well and was modern and quiet, while the whole hotel felt modern and inviting. Our first room at the front of the hotel had a lovely view but proved to be a little too noisy for us, so we asked to move and spent the rest of our stay at the rear of the hotel, which didn't enjoy the same views but was very quiet. Breakfast was just fine but not great. The coffee machine did not make good coffee, and the orange juice machine did not produce very good orange juice. The hotel sits pretty much directly between two Metro stops, so a walk of ten minutes is needed before you can get Underground in any direction.

Location was good, room was clean. The room is way too small. The toilet has a glass door that offers no privacy at all. It's almost like keeping the door open...people on the bed can hear absolutely everything you are doing in the bathroom.

The room was a good size, the beds comfortable, the shower amazing. And the breakfast was incredible! Carmen and Vanessa went out of their way to bring us treats. There was nothing we didn't like! :)

really enjoyed my stay. The property was clean, modern, and very well maintained. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and many attractions. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Omar and Julio at the reception—they were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always willing to help with recommendations and any requests. Their outstanding hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. Nothing to dislike. Everything met my expectations. The property was clean, comfortable, and well managed, and the staff—especially Omar and Julio—were friendly, professional, and always helpful. I would happily stay here again.
