Angel was nice, the room was clean and the bed comfortable, perfect
-
The AC was a bit inconsistent so it could get stuffy at night.
-
Nothing Too much noise from the streets

It was a great location and value. I didnt get that feeling of being hosted. Usually, they are more involved with your stay at hostals and ask if you need things. Our check in process was very impersonal.

The walls are very thin so I recommend bringing earplugs (i slept great with them). There is no lounge room for the hostel guests to hang out really, and there is no breakfast offered, so if you are used to living a comfier lifestyle and can afford it, I'd recommend a different place.

Located close to Gothic quarters and amazing restaurants like casa lolea within minutes of walking , safe neighborhood.Room is spacious and well ventilated with the balcony . Loved the ability to close the balcony door and keep the glass window accessible for sunlight to pour in . C very clean shared bathroom every single time I used . Professional and helpful staff - inform them if you are checking in after 10 pm so they are available to help you . Pay attention to your check in email coming via booking.com Bed wasn’t very comfortable- would sink in everytime you lie down

The location was PERFECT, walking distance to literally anything you could need It was clean and well-kept The walls were so thin that you could hear a lot :( one time we disturbed our neighbours just by having a regular conversation, and clearly they could hear it very clearly (which we then confirmed by hearing them also)

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed it. You get what you pay for. The shared showers/bathrooms were clean and nearby, and there was never a wait to use them. The room is small, but it has a sink, a clothing rack, window and AC. The location is great and near a lot of the attractions in the Gothic Quarter.

Walls are a bit too thin

The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom clean. In a big city such as Barcelona Hostal Dragonfly provides a good price/quality. I'd book again here. The host Angel is very friendly. The rooms are quite noisy, thin walls. Even though asked for silence in the evening, the guests next to us were not respecting that - it felt like they are standing next to your bed.

Very convenient location, the building was very cool looking to me and the staff was so kind!

Love the location.

I really like this place. It was situatuted on the 5th floor, so be wary about carrying suitcases up. The owner was lovely and really helped out a lot with recommendations and was nice to talk to. It is like a private room hostel vibe with shared bathrooms. I think there were 2 bathrooms for about 5 rooms. This was fine for a short weekend. Everything was clean and we had a lovely little balcony we can step out onto. It was situated in a really nice part of central Barcelona which I really enjoyed walking around. Super close to everything and only a short Lime Bike away for the further away things.

Location, views, the owners and staff AMAZING, super spacious If this property had an elevator, would be 10/10. One of the nicest places! Highly recommend

Rooms were as depicted. They don’t store luggage but will you a flyer for a place that does at a cost. No complimentary water or coffee, etc. no kitchen

The hot water wasn’t working on our floor

Nothing The room had two tiny beds that looked and felt like hospital cots. The shower was literally inside the room, separated only by a flimsy curtain that did nothing to keep the rest of the space dry. Water went everywhere. The curtain itself looked like it belonged in medieval times-old, thin, and useless. The sink was awkwardly placed right in the bedroom and had one of those push-button faucets you’d find in a public restroom. Super inconvenient and completely out of place in a hotel setting. The entire setup felt clinical, cold, and uncomfortable. I couldn’t wait to leave. Definitely not worth the price, and definitely never again.

The private room was spacious, clean, and had lots of storage for luggage and belongings. The Ac was great and the mirror and desk made getting ready easy since it was a shared bathroom. The shared bathroom was cleaned every day but because the shower was open to the rest of the bathroom it would always be very wet and have dirt build up.

It's located in the city center close to everything, the room was bigger than expected, and even if the bathroom was shared on the hallway, everything was always clean.

Cleaning, location, crew very friendly. Maybe the toilet but is an hostal, nothing happens.
