The amenities were great and we especially loved the rooftop pool area! The rooms were clean and we got amused by all the clever phrases around the property. There wasn’t really anything we did not like about the property.

Very good location I selected this hotel because of its location. Other than that, there was nothing exceptional at all about the hotel. When we arrived, there was a visible stain mark that closely resembled dried sperm on our blanket. We called the front desk and the room service removed the blanket (with a smile) and never brought back a replacement. After spending the night freezing, we requested the front desk send up a replacement blanket – and nothing happened. On the third day we again requested a blanked (after another cold night) and still nothing. Finally, I spoke with the “manager” who really is not empowered to do anything at all. She said the hotel does not have any spare blankets and the proceeded to question me how I knew it was sperm of the original blanket. I advised her that as a 61 year old male, I know what dried sperm looks like. Perhaps the 20 year old that they employ there does not. Moving on, after several more calls and threats a blanket (or perhaps it was a set of folded curtains) did arrive at the room. The hotel also what appears to be a beautiful spa for their guests to enjoy. What potential guest should know, however, is that the spa is limited to only 30 minutes per stay (not per night) and you must first make an appointment to use it. Once you arrive, prepare for a chilly adventure because they do not heat the spa water to any reasonable temperature. As an avid swimmer I would estimate that the spa temperature was 78 degrees Fahrenheit which is PERFECT for lap swimming, but given the pool length of about 10 feet, not exactly appropriate. It was clear the hotel was not interested in heating the spa water for their guest – perhaps a cost saving measure? If you want a hot spa, go to another hotel. Finally, the hotel bragged about their complimentary wine and cheese gathering for guests. Now, on our floor I counted 17 rooms, and the hotel had 4 floors. Assuming 1.5 guests on average per room, that makes for about 102 guests (I assume the hot

    Spa was a bonus

Delicious breakfast, central location, building has a lot of character. Friendly staff. Hotel has a lot of quirky signage and puns. Evening wine with a small amount of crackers, cheese, olives. Couldn’t tell how or if the string lights on the roof could be turned on at night. Bathroom would benefit from more towel bars.

I also went to the spa on multiple occasions and loved the care and attention the staff gave to guests. Wonderful stay. A highlight of my trip.

The front desk could do a better job letting people know about siesta in near by popular towns when your talking to them about going, and when theres a marathon in town it would be great for the front desk folks to mention it or even put a note on rooms like you did when matainance was happening.

We loved the hotel. From the very first moment, at the reception, the staff was very amicable. Upon arrival, we were greeted and offered a drink of our choice. The staff was very tentative and helpfull. The room was beautiful, tidy and clean. The bed was enormous and comfirtable. We had a Nespresson coffee machine, and lots of other amenities. The shower had high pressure water, which was very nice. When booking the hotel, I mentioned it was my wife's birthday. On the day of her birthday, the waitresses at the breakfast, surpised us with a happy-birthday greetings and cake, which wartmed our hearts. Thank you. Free spa (small) pool, equipped with 3 kinds of water body-massage and a dry/wet sauna. Every evening, betweem 18:30 and 19:30 there's a complimentary wind, cheese and cold-cuts, which we enjoyed very much. Also, there's a self-service washing and drying machine in-house, whcih was very helpfull, since we had some dirty cloths. Amazing and excellent breakfast. The only thing that may have bothered us was the size of the room. If it only had a little more floor area :)

Our room was spacious, and the view from the balcony was amazing. The bed was so comfortable, and the staff were very welcoming. The location of the hotel is great! Everything was great!

The friendliness of the staff, the cool decor, the chromecast on the room tv, the cute spa which wasn't/couldn't be over booked and the location That there are no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or swimsuits to dry - only the ones inside the shower where they don't get enough air between uses. Also didn't love that the sink is in the bedroom.

A very new property just few steps from Gothic quarter, well designed and maintained I’d prefer a sink to be inside a bathroom but here in some rooms it is in a corridor , not bad just a detail

Very nice boutique hotel that has an organic, minimalistic look and feel. I booked a double twin room - I'm not sure if that's what I ended up getting or if it was just a king-size bed, but either way, the room was a decent size for two people. The beds were comfy as well. The hotel was situated within the Gothic Quarter, so it was within walking distance to restaurants in that area. We were also a block away from the subway for the L1 and L4, too. I booked breakfast with my package, and the hotel served both cold and hot breakfast. The hot breakfast was great. I mostly would order the Spanish omelet, which was delicious. The staff at breakfast was very attentive to us each morning - special shout out to Wendy, who always had a smile on her face. We also did the spa one day - I ended up doing a 30-minute massage - wish I had booked a longer time slot. You get the spa pool for 30 mins as well, but since no one else had booked a spa, the staff let us stay for about 2 hrs, which was nice. We did the rooftop pool as well. The rooftop pool I will say is very narrow and shallow but regardless it was nice and had a beautiful voew of the city. The plumbing in the shower would sometimes let out a foul smell. We spoke to our cleaning lady about it and she tried to flush the drain, but there's not much she could do. Also, it seemed that the pipes were clogged somewhat because anything longer than a 5-minute shower, the water spills over the lip of the shower onto the bathroom floor. We constantly had to use the towels to soak up the water. Also, there should be no glass in the showers. The 4-minute vial challenge that's on the wall fell one day and had glass all over the shower floor, which is a safety hazard. These glass vials should be removed from all rooms.

The location of the hotel was great! Just 8 minutes walking from Plaza de Cataluña or other main touristic spots but enough distance as to no be bothered by all the tourists. There were plenty of restaurants, shops and bars nearby. The staf was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean. The rooms are a bit on the small side however everything looked in great condition. The spa is also relatively small but the staff does a good job at managing the amount of people that can be in at the same time.
