Casa Trafalgar is located in Plaza Urquinaona, just a few minutes from the vibrant Plaza Catalunya and Paseo de Gracia, where the city's best shops and restaurants are located. Casa Trafalgar offers three-room models. The economic one has the same quality as the other types of rooms but has limited natural light. The small room with a balcony, offers a large window with views of Plaza Urquinaona. And the standard interior rooms offer great tranquility as they are located in the hotel's backyard. All rooms have Chromecast technology and Smart TV. In addition to a complete bathroom with shower and aromatherapy amenities. The air conditioning is individually controlled in each room, which also has an ultra-silent fan that improves rest in summer. The mattresses and pillows are very comfortable and of high quality, with hypoallergenic duvets adapted to each season and temperature of the year. The reception offers luggage storage service both on the check-in day and on the check-out day, helps in booking visits to monuments and restaurant reservations. The location is amazing. The facilities were good. Staff was helpful and kind, as they allowed us let our luggage there in the last day. 1st floor has free water, ice creams, milk and cookies. I thought the room would be just a little bigger.

The location is very good and conveniently a short walk from Placa de Catalunya, which is where you can take the aerobus from and to the airport. There's a metro station nearby in the park with bus stops to all major attractions. The only downside is the high price. But cant complain too much as this is Barcelona we're talking about.

The location was so great! So close to the metro but we didn’t even need it because we were walking distance to everything. The free water in the communal fridge on the first floor was so nice (along with the pastries). If you’re looking for a fancy hotel with frills then this isn’t it. It also didn’t have a safe or your own fridge but honestly we didn’t need it.

Actually we were a bit worried by booking a 2 star hotel with such a good price, we expect to be a bit disappointed but worth the try, very kind staff who gave us very good hints on how to get to the hotel easily from the airport, clean and organized, with good free snacks and water. We highly recommend for those who are looking for simplicity and kindness, with a very good price.

How isolating and dark the interior room was. Pay the extra money for a better room or chose a different hotel.

The cleanliness was not on top and the noises from the staff cleaning at 7:30 AM disturbed us. The room had a window facing the inner dark 3 m2 courtyard. We had to ask more than 3 times to change our towels.

Everything about the stay felt practical in a good way. Nothing overcomplicated, just comfortable and reliable.

The staff was very helpful and available when needed. The free bottled water, coffee and snacks were a nice perk. We enjoyed the location which was close to metro and walking distance to many great places. We loved the balcony attached to our room. The bathroom had a strong smell that we weren’t sure about. It could have been chlorine in the water or plumbing related. Other than that it was perfect. We didn’t ask for clarity in the smell because we were gine all day and just dealt with it .
