Good location, near the port of Bari. Funky décor in bedrooms. Restaurants, cafés and bars within walking distance. The unexpected steps between the lift and our room, especially when carrying heavy suitcases.

Only good place. I have stayed at this hotel three times. I thought things might have changed over the years. I paid €3,000 for a nine-day stay. I was provided with two bottles of mineral water only on the first day. The breakfast has remained exactly the same for three years. The hallway still has the same dirty, worn-out carpets. When I wanted to go to the hospital, the staff told me to pay for a taxi and go myself; I didn't even know where to go. If you have a health issue, don't expect any help from them. There is a pool on the roof, but there is always black grime in it; no one ever cleaned it with a pool vacuum. I have stayed in many 5-star hotels, but this one is, at best, a 3.5- or 4-star establishment.I won't be posting photos. Anyone interested can go there and see for themselves what it's like—though I doubt they'll return. I chose the hotel solely because of its central location. Paying €3,000 for nine days and not having a bottle of water in the room is a joke.

Great reception team - recommended lots of good places to eat and visits. Everyone super friendly and helpful which made our stay just perfect. Gym could do with upgrade.

We had planned to stay in Monopoli but didn't like the communications prior to arriving and in the long run glad we did not stay there. We booked the JR hotel last minute which worked for us. I like the staff, super nice and helpful. They arranged a rental car for us that was seamless.I think the rooms in the hotel need updating. the bathroom area could be nicer. Location was great to walk to the main square, beach or along the water Needed better bathroom amenities, more towels, more products, coffee maker didn't work, I asked to fix didn't happen but was ok on a couple days as down the street was a cafe. Rooms need to be better to rate 4-5 star

The hotel itself is grand, elegant, and impeccably clean, with spacious interiors that create a real sense of luxury. The views are absolutely fantastic, especially if you have a sea facing room. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION Avoid anything below the 3rd floor if natural light.
