The location was good — really close to the train station and not that far from the city center and the beach There wasn’t a single window in the room — one couldn’t really tell if it’s day or night. Also it was very noisy at night and the cleaners woke us up to clean the room at 9 am, which is unacceptable.

The location was perfect, 30 sec walk to Barletta train station and about 10 mins walk to the castle. Breakfast was in a patisserie less than a couple of minutes away and you get a choice of a croissant and a hot drink, i have to say it was delicious but very limited in the way of choices so personally giving that coffee and croissants are so cheap to have in any bar anyway in Italy I don’t think is worth to have breakfast included in this case. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable and it was really nicely furbished. Enzo the owner offers a €60 transfer service from the airport to the B&B. Which i have used each way and he was very kind to give me a little tour of what was around the B&B area before dropping me off and also gave me a history lesson about Barletta which was very lovely and interesting.We had a great chat and laughs, which was a great welcome. For me the biggest negative about the room was the noise you can hear one was a constant white noise like a fan or something it wasn’t very loud but constantly there and I couldn’t work out where was coming from, you can also hear anything that is happening in the building such as neighbours flashing the toilet, kids crying etc. definitely take some ear plugs with you!!! there was no window which i knew that and i thought i didn’t mind but next time i would definitely choose a room that has one. Enzo is a nice guy but the lady who helps him can improve her communication skills maybe by saying “thank you” a bit more often and use less “i’m doing you a favour” attitude especially when people are nice to her and we are the one paying.

Location is absolutely excellent. 50 meters from train station, cafe and supermarket. Not a big city, so everything available within 20 minutes walk. Room is well equipped, clean and the bathroom is modern and spacious. The owner is very kind, staff replied to our emails very quickly. Recommend this place! :) Africa room is a bit dark, despite of location on the 2nd floor. Maybe a bit stronger lighting would be a good solution for this.
