Hostel 47

I rarely award a perfect score; in the hospitality sector, excellent service should be the baseline expectation. For an establishment to earn a ten, it must truly transcend the ordinary, and Hostel 47 effortlessly achieves that standard. The entire facility is pristine and entirely free of the predictable odors typical of shared accommodations. The dorms offer a genuinely quiet, comfortable retreat for the most part, thoughtfully equipped with personal privacy curtains and spacious, numbered lockers. The communal spaces are equally impressive. The kitchen is meticulously organized, featuring an efficient system to track each person's food. Even when certain guests leave bigger messes or utensils run short, Lika works tirelessly to keep the environment pristine and functional. Adjacent to this is a cozy wooden counter featuring a stunning wall of handwritten notes from global travelers, reflecting the warm community here. Lika’s welcome tour is outstanding, and she is a wealth of local information—be sure to ask her questions. I stayed in the hostel a week and a few times, some guests returned late at night and were a bit boisterous. But wasn’t a repetitive issue.

Lika’s place was great to stay in Batumi. She’s always available to chat or give you recommendations. Everything is clean, there’s a kitchen you can use, 2 bathrooms with shower and an extra toilet. There’s also a small garden to chill in and it’s minutes from the sea

I really liked this hostel! Everything was clean, including the room, kitchen and the bathroom. The host was so kind and always here to help. I also felt super safe as a solo female traveler. And I had the soundest sleep while I was staying there.

Best sleep I’ve had on my trip and Lika was the kindest host. She really got to know you, remember your name and there for you if you needed anything. She did my laundry and folded everything up - so kind! It was a really nice stop on my trip that made me feel back at home. Thank you!!

Lika is a mom away from home. I enjoyed my time here so much that I extended for a few days, and I'm already sad that I have to leave. Everything is clean and convenient. Also, the location is superb. Everything is outside your doorstep. The bed is comfy and private, and people are very respectful and quiet. Its lovely for meeting people and theres a nice coworking space too.

Hostel 47 was the perfect base for exploring Batumi. The location couldn’t be better—surrounded by great restaurants and cafés—and bike storage was easy and secure. The hostel was very clean and had a lovely garden in the back to relax in. Lika was so warm, kind, and welcoming—she truly made the place feel like home. I only wish I had more time to stay longer.

Lika, the proprietor, is a phenomenal hostess who does her utmost and goes out of her way to ensure a wonderful visit in Batumi/ to her hostel. She is helpful beyond belief, takes pride in her establishment (it is awesome and so well located), and a lovely and interesting individual. N/A

My two-night stay at Hostel 47 was just what i needed for my stay, and it's all thanks to the incredible owner, Lika. From the moment I walked in, she treated me with the warmth and care of a mother; her hospitality is truly something special. Every single detail at the hostel is so well-organized, which made my stay completely seamless and comfortable. You can tell a lot of love and effort goes into making this place feel like a home away from home. If you're looking for a place in Batumi with a huge heart and a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere, look no further. I can't recommend Hostel 47 enough. I'll definitely be back!

Lika was very kind, genuine and accommodating during my stay. I caught a cold before my stay and she made sure I had a comfortable dorm with less occupants so I can sleep and rest better. She was very interesting to talk to and also provided suggestions about Batumi. She frequently inspects the toilets to ensure they are clean. I didn't have any issues during my stay, as far as I can recall.

Everything! The hostel was spotless — the dorm, kitchen, and bathroom were all extremely clean and well-equipped. The atmosphere was very friendly and warm. Lika, the host, is incredibly kind and helpful. She made sure every guest was comfortable and even found a safe spot for my bicycle. I also appreciated the late check-out since it wasn’t high season. Laundry service was great, and there were always snacks and drinks available in the kitchen. An amazing experience overall. Nothing to complain about. Everything was great.
