Hotel Alpi

Very good location, very clean, two elevators servicing four floors. The beds are firm and the pillows are firm-er so it depends on your preference, it can be a plus or a deal breaker. The included breakfast was on the basic side but if you are inventive with food ingredients, I am sure you will be happy with the selection offered. I read a review about the street noise with the lake view room, I didn’t hear anything with the balcony door closed a d I am a light sleeper. I asked for a higher floor and ai was confirmed 3rd floor, when I arrived, the owner of the hotel gave me a room at the 2nd floor. I paid more for lake view and I had the lake at maybe 10% of my view because of the trees. I am confident that 3rd and especially 4th floor would have given an unobstructed view of the lake and mountains (see the photo). The AC is noisy, although it has manual controls of the temp and fan speed, it is also remotely managed, around 10:30 PM the temp goes to 23 degrees and you can lower it if you wish, but from time to time through the night it will revert to 23. Also from 9:00AM until 2:00PM the AC it is shut down from the property centralized system so no AC between those hours. Parking is not sufficient if the hotel would be 80% plus occupied so first come first served is the method of parking!

The hotel is located just opposite a wonderful public park with monumental trees and beach. Very convenient for visiting the area and reaching nearby popular destinations.

Clean spacious room with beautiful view from the balcony. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. On site parking. Baveno is a beautiful small town. The bath room is very small and crowded.

We booked a room with balcony lake view. Actually the lake is across a main road and it wasn’t really conducive to relaxing on a balcony listening to traffic noise even though there was a nice view. We had breakfast an a couple of meals . I think this is where a 3star hotel originates. The service was brilliant and the amount of choice for breakfast was as expected but the quality of the food was not too good. Eg no fresh fruit juice I think made from concentrate. The fruit salad was the type you can buy in a tin in the UK. Ok but Italy has such great fresh fruit and vegetables. Dinner again great service some of the meal but the main meat course were underwhelmed. However the staff serve silver service and they are great. All speak many languages and so helpful. The standards of the towels and linen was high including beach towels. The noise from the traffic.

Loved our stay at Hotel Alpi! We got the warmest welcome when we arrived. Everyone we encountered was nice and extremely helpful. Nothing.

Average to good hotel breakfast. No variation day to day. Parking was tight. But allways got a spot.

Breakfast was fabulous. Lots of variety, including homemade jams and baked goods as well as many fresh options. Wonderful coffees and lovely service. The hotel is well placed in Baveno. Easy to walk anywhere in town and to access the ferries to Borromeo Islands. Great views of the lake. Clean and comfortable. Helpful staff. I would have maybe preferred to stay in a different town on Lago Maggiore, however, as there is not much going on in Baveno. The restaurants in town all seemed very touristy and hard to get a table at. The hotel Alpi is a wonderful choice though and I had a great stay there. I liked everything about the hotel but didn't love the town of Baveno.

Superbly run hotel. Very welcoming with local information Exceptionally clean. Very good towels and bathroom facilities. Hot water and heating when required. Good breakfast. Good balcony. . Location was just right, easy walk to lake and restaurants. It was a pity that the bedroom window and balcony doors had fixed nets totally obscuring the wonderful views of the lake and the hills which we were there to enjoy.

Excellent service with a smile and very helpful

The hotel was very well placed and had parking. The rooms had everything you could want plus a balcony and it was spotless! The food was very tasty and plentiful! There was nothing we didn't like.

The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to help you. Hotel was immaculate and cleaned daily with new towels/bedding. Beach towels provided daily which was welcomed as well as a large bottle of water. Lovely view of the lake with good size balcony equipped with a table and chairs. Only a short walk (across the road and through the park) to the lake. A beach bar serving food and drinks at reasonable prices. Expect a 10-15 minute casual stroll to where the ferry terminal is. A great stay..would definitely highly recommend. nothing

Lovely hotel room, with a nice balcony and very good service. Excellent breakfast with many local good quality products. The lovely beach is accessible with a short walk across the nice public park in front of the hotel and clean beach towels are handed out to you. The only (minor) downside could be the proximity to the main road, which can be a little noisy daytime, when relaxing on the balcony. The windows, however, are soundproof, so no unwanted noise at night. The bathroom could have done with an extra shelf, to have more room for things.

The location is amazing. It is easy to reach the lake by passing through the park, it takes only 5 minutes. Hotel provides towel which can bring to the lake and it is super practical. I was travelling along and the people in the hotel gave me good advice, and they were always very friendly. I am very satisfied about my room. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. I would love to come back.

The location is very convenient, near the park and not far from the lake and ferry. Free parking is a plus. Nice view to the lake is also a plus The breakfast was poor, the choice is quite limited, even no eggs at all. Awful internet, I had to go outside of the room to catch a signal. I think that nowadays a good internet is vital for many people, like electricity or water )))

The location was really good, we had an amazing view of the lake from the balcony and the staff was really nice. The rooms were clean and we had enough space even with the baby cot. The breakfast was ok but there were not a lot of options so our one year old baby didn't really have something for her to eat other than cookies and yogurt.

Location 100m from the beach bar, beach and 200m from old city center. Very nice rooms, very clean, nice breakfast, good rooms, great views from the rooms, parking place near the entrance, stuff are very friendly, free towels for the beach, furniture in good conditions, ..just big + Nothing. Keep the good work.
