Extremely hard and uncomfortable beds. All a bit dated

Nice hot water. Hotel staff very efficient fetching whatever it is that I needed. very nice location close to everything. A tourist might need in Bejing. Had difficulty Using the TV and setting up the air conditioner to provide heat. There was a little wear such as rust around the bathroom sink bowl. The beds were hard for westerners, but was given an extra puffy quilt to put under me which made it more comfortable.

Really disorganized staff - I arrived after midnight and had already informed the hotel I would and they’d confirmed. I rang the buzzer since no one was at the front gate and ended up ringing it 5 times over a 15 minute period until someone woke up and asked me why I didn’t ring the buzzer. Then they couldn’t find my booking. It was 1:20am (30 minutes almost since I got there) that I finally got the key to my room. Staff disorganized and said that they’d talk to their manager about what could be done given my situation and poor experience. They never followed up. I won’t stay here again. I’ve traveled to 41 countries and this was the worst staff experience I’ve had.

I liked it a lot Very nice rooms The location is amazing , because it very near to forbidden city and other famous places … which you can even reach easy by walking or with renting a bike . Biking is so easy in Beijing Good food shops around and nice very good local restaurant to eat I also love it because it’s located in are local Hutong area I als o booked because they have a very nice Terrasse with view to Jinghan Garden but it was closed , also the weather was very beautiful and warm … so I ask and it will only be open in summer - just that you know it ！ I will come back to this Hotel

The WiFi works - although I read the opposite from others. You just need a VPN as elsewhere in China. The staff was nice and the location was super close to all the tourist stuff. It wasn’t that clean - and I would recommend that they actually enforce the no smoking thing. The whole hotel smelled of cigarettes, and sometimes even it got into my room. Other than that, the facilities were okay but nothing very nice. I think it’s just pricey to stay in Beijing, and not really get that much. You should also like a very very hard bed, because that’s what you get.

Excellent service, great location, close to food shops. I really appreciate that the people who served me went out of their way to help me when I arrived at 2:30am in my taxi with no cash to pay, and I couldn’t get Weixin pay to work. I am very grateful.
