A wonderful place in a great location.

Garden View means a garden behind the door. The projector could have some English language channels or content. There was just CCTV stations.

Everything about the property and the staff was superb. I liked everything

The location is a bit weird, but nothing that can decrease our 10.

We really loved staying here—it felt like such a genuine local experience. The property is super central, but tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood, so it gave us a chance to see a more real side of Beijing that you don’t usually get from a big high-rise hotel. Being surrounded by local homes and neighbors made it feel really authentic and special. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and spoke English really well, which made everything easy. We arrived early in the morning and thought we’d miss breakfast, but they kindly saved some for us. They also checked in with us about our plans, helped with directions, and were always happy to help whenever we needed anything. Overall, we felt really taken care of the whole time and honestly just so happy we stayed here. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Beijing who wants a more local and cozy experience. The location may be a little difficult to find at first, especially for first-time visitors. The property is tucked away in a neighborhood alley, which can be confusing when you first arrive. However, once you get familiar with the area, you’ll appreciate why it’s located there—it offers a more authentic and local experience away from the busy tourist crowds. If you’re traveling with luggage, be sure to let the staff know your arrival time in advance, and they will gladly assist with your bags.

Warmest welcome from the lovely staff. They went above and beyond with their help - even preparing a breakfast to go when we had an early departure. Absolutely nothing. It was lovely.

Neena and the staff were very sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend.

This hotel is really cute and cozy. The people who work there made our stay an outstanding, amazing experience. We are in a different part of China now, and we wish we could have this hotel and staff for the rest of our travels. They are some of the friendliest and sweetest people I've ever met. It is so nice to be around such cheerful people every morning. Everyone is SO helpful and kindhearted. They each go above and beyond what any guest would ever expect. They all felt like family by the end of our stay. They helped us order food delivered to our room for dinner, order a driver from the airport, and even did our laundry for us ! They made refreshing juice one day, tea, special fruit platters. And not having to stay in to do our laundry, saved us so much time for touring Beijing. Our rooms really really quiet. We didn't hear any street noise. The beds and pillows are comfortable, the linens are smooth and clean, the towels are clean and fluffy, with plenty provided. Clean towels every day. You need to walk down an alleyway to the hotel. But on the last day Nina ( Neena ) hauled my rolling luggage all the way down the alley for me and waited for our driver with us. I was impressed at how cheerful and helpful every single member of the staff was during our 6 night stay. The breakfast is great too, with so many dishes served. They serve everything to you and will make your latte for you. All you need to do is relax and enjoy. We didn't want to leave and we miss them. Nothing. Everything was wonderful.

The location is super. Subway stations and bus stops are just steps away. The facilities and services are perfect. Room is very clean. Beverage in minibar is free and replenished during stays. And the staff are great, always ready to help

Nice small hotel in a great location. Close to transport including the airport train, a lot of food options - street food, great peking duck restaurant, bakeries, convenience stores etc. Good breakfast at hotel. Comfortable rooms, not huge but big enough. Stairs in the room were a little tight if you have issues getting up and down stairs but fine for most people. Hotel in a quiet location. Very safe area. Wifi worked fine. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful both while we stayed and before we arrived as they recommended and booked a peking duck restaurant for us, organized an airport transfer and a car for Great Wall day trip all before we got to Beijing. Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful small hotel on a small hutong (alley) near the Lama Temple (Yonghegong). It is very "design forward" with lots of very modern, striking touches. My room had a light well, a floor-to-ceiling glass wall that opened to a completely private space, a small tree backed by a beautiful stark cement wall. Everythings was comfortable and everything worked. The breakfast was spectacular, a mix of salad, egg, Chinese and Western breads, and it changes daily. Highly recommended. Nothing, really. The rooftop space has a nice working room, but the outside spaces up there are underdeveloped.

The location was perfect and the staff were friendly and super helpful. We had a great stay!

Hospitality is exceptional. I have travelled the world but the ladies taking care of our family are very pleasant and professional. The room is nice. The location is tricky at first but fine once we get used to it. Again, I recommend this small local hotel for everyone. The service alone made this one of my best experiences.

It was the perfect hotel stay in Beijing! We had the pleasure of being looked after by Lucy, Jennie, Yuki, and the rest of the team. Lucy, Jennie, and Yuki in particular exemplified top-tier hospitality and truly felt like an extension of our family during our short stay. It was always a joy to see their smiles, positive energy, and genuine care. I can’t speak highly enough of them - they truly made our trip. The rest of the staff were wonderful as well. The snacks Coli greeted us with upon arrival were even better than similar ones we purchased around Beijing - a small but memorable touch. The location is very convenient - tucked slightly inside a hutong, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle, yet still close to an abundance of restaurants and easy access to transportation. The hotel’s design is also fantastic: a thoughtful blend of modern details, traditional architecture, and a calm, inviting atmosphere. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone and would absolutely love to stay here again. Nothing to complain about.
