Palace Hotel

Right in the city center Staff was a little unfriendly, I was met with “Close the door” instead of “Hello” Bathroom doors were sliding off, and some old spots on the bathtub bottom were visible Stuffy smell in the room, air conditioner is very old, can only be set on 18 degrees Celsius and does not ventilate the room at all. Horrible experience with their elevator - got stuck there because it’s old and some sensors didn’t seem to work because I was standing too close to the exit, it just stopped between the floors. Be careful with it if you decide to choose that hotel. No elevator to the lobby to carry heavy suitcases. I stayed for just one night fyi

olde worlde hotel but great hotel and staff, great buffet breakfast and a perfect location in a lovely quiet corner of the main promenades with a lovely small park right on front of the hotel and multiple cafes also straight outside the hotel

Got the desired room. Good location. Sadly nothing else. Bad communication with staff. Not very friendly. Every time I wanted to take a shower had to wait 20+ minutes for hot water. The hotel haven't seen renovation for years. There are couple hotels at walking distance with lower prices and a lot better commodities.

Perfect location - in the city center, close to the main shopping street and within short walking distance of a bus stop where you could easily take the bus to the airport. Staff were kind and helpful. AC wasn’t cooling enough, I even put it on the lowest possible temperature.

Excellent location. Comfortable bed and all the necessary furniture. Clean and spacious bathroom. Needs some renovations overall. Bathtub drain was not working well enough. The room door was a bit old and let the noise in from the corridor.

Location was so good. The rooms were a little dusty, unattended, but generally clean.

A true experience of Belgrade, this hotel looks like it hasn't changed for the last 50 years, and this is a good thing. So much character.

The staff in the reception was very service minded. The location of the hotel is great.

Old, stylish building, perfect place downtown, incredibly polite personel

Even though the room was non smoking, the hallways smelled like smoke very heavily Consider making an entire floor smoke free

Amazing location, practically in the city center.

Very good location. In the center and close to all the restaurants and shops. I highly recommend one of the BEST and most affordable restaurants in the center PROLECE (or SPRING) next to the hotel right across the park. Very nice park next to the hotel Older hotel. Rooms are quite old but still in very good condition

Helpful staff, their English was great, which I was thankful for considering I know very little Serb. Breakfast was fantastic. Overall a very good value in a good location. There was no shower curtain so water went all over the floor every time one used the shower. Heat is "house controlled", but it was set at a comfortable level. Door lock had to be locked with the key from the inside.

I didn't see a hairdryer.
