Long queue to use the bathroom-shower and wasn’t very clean either.

Location and staff The staff were friendly, but the dorms were disappointing. The rooms are very small, and the ceiling is unusually low. If you’re assigned an upper bunk, you’ll probably hit your head on the ceiling multiple times just trying to get in and out of bed. It makes the space feel cramped and uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend the upper bunks unless you’re okay with very limited headroom.

It’s a nice place, in a good location. The hostel was clean and comfortable. I hate the fact there’s no curtains for privacy. They only accept cash, it’s also a problem.

Everything was amazing. Hinestly, this is one if the nciest and cleanest hostels I've ever been to, eapecially considering the cheap price. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would absolutely recommend!

The staff at the hostel were very kind and helpful, and the other people staying there also made my experience even better. The lockers for storing belongings were spacious and more than sufficient as well.

The fridge was a bit small, so it was difficult to find space. Also, the beds caused a bit of back pain for me; a firmer mattress would have been better. Having an extra curtain for the beds wouldn’t be bad either. Of course, expecting these things at this price point might be a bit much, but I still wanted to mention it.

Kind, friendly, and helpful workers. The rooms were big so I felt comfortable with the space. Big lockers and sufficient bathrooms. The common area was a nice space to mingle. The location was not ideal, a little away from the center. But, there was free public transportation. :)

The volunteers were absolutely the best and it's such a nice hostel 10/10!

Too small, it's more like a house than a hostel, rooms are too small for 6 people and the common area/kitchen is also too small for so many people, feels like you constantly in contact with someone and very lack of privacy, I could hear anyone chatting in the hostel even from the kitchen. There is also a lack of ventilation. In the morning I left quite happily for another.

The hostel is really close to the bus station, as well as to a lot of restaurants and sites, so it’s very convenient. The staff were friendly and nice during my stay, they have daily activities that were fun to join, which created a great community vibe. They would help you whenever you need something. The rooms were nice too, comfortable bed and clean bathroom.

Absolutely everything the host and all the volunteers were absolutely amazing the whole vibe and atmosphere was very welcoming and the group activities were very fun. Plus all the people that were there were super nice I couldn't recommend this place more. Nothing

I stayed at Balkan Soul Hostel for 10 days and had an amazing experience. The entire team was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect — so central that even though public transportation is free, I never felt the need to use it. The bathrooms were always very clean, and as someone who works remotely, having reliable internet is essential for me. I never had any issues during my stay. Another thing I loved is that the hostel has events every single day of the week, so there’s never a dull evening. Highly recommended! As for things I didn’t like — honestly, I didn’t encounter any real issues. But if I have to mention something, I’d say they could definitely use one more fridge. When everyone tries to fit their food in, you sometimes end up playing a bit of Tetris. :D

Good location near to bus station and castle , the people is very nice and patient and the atmosphere of the hostel is cozy
