Not sure No remote for AC. You cant boil coffee in apartment, and in the shared kitchen there was no coffee.

If you are not fan of "coolines" of the other classical stays (like myself is), this is almost perfect choice. Parking inside the properties is very big bonus for Belgrade I don't find anything to dislike

The hosts were very understanding. The restaurant next door served me an amazing wild game dish (I used my Russian to ask for meat, and I lucked out and got something amazing). The hosts helped me getting taxis (you will get ripped off using the regular "taxi mafia"). The bed was comfortable. The room did not have cigarette smoke smell (but the hallway & lounge did). The back door of the train station is really difficult to find (you have to go under the tracks), and the street up to the place is a bit uphill (which makes carrying a lot of bags up there very difficult, requiring a taxi, although the hosts would not have minded doing themselves but for their car not working). The room's bathroom was quite small. The hot water was very hot, so be careful! The hosts mentioned that they plan to put up a proper hotel where the restaurant is, so this will be better in the future. The general area is nowhere near as developed as one would expect with a name like "central station", but in the future, this should be better.

It was a bit hard for me to find.

Snezana is a great host, alongside her husband. We booked the villa last minute due to an awful previous experience with another host and I guess we got extremely lucky finding this gem! The facilities are clean and tidy and the stay was great value for money. If you want to feel like you are staying over at a friend's house and being treated as a valued guest - I would highly recommend giving them a go. You won't regret it!

Excellent location near the train station. A perfect room very clean and confortable. Staff very kind and cooperative. I would definitely recommend it.

quite area access to the city - taxi difficult to respond on a call minimalist room, not suitable for a couple toilet bowl so tight, sitting almost impossible do not accept credit cards without warning

We only stayed here for one night - arrived late in the evening and took off early next morning to catch our train. But this accommodation was everything we needed in terms of decent beds and bathroom. The room was very hostel-like, but we didn't really need much else, so it was good enough for us. The receptionist/owner was almost the best part - the sweetest woman, very service-minded and welcoming. I'm sure the sheets in the bed had been cleaned, but there were some stains on them which made us feel a little uneasy and also we could only find one sheet/blanket which we then had to share.

Very comfortable, great location just near the station in a quiet and relaxed neighbourhood. The hosts were helpful and friendly.

Vila Chess is in a great location 10min walk from the new Beograd central station. Super friendly owners also made the stay even better.

Hvala vam to Milica and her mom who where both very welcoming and guest-friendly. Both just wrote me before to pick me up from the airport and took me to the apartment. They also helped me to get a train ticket to Novi Sad from the main station. Thanks for your effort, wishing you all the best ! ?

Lovely Host! Clean, comfortable and Code

Super friendly and warm welcome by the host. Very close to the trainstation. Small but clean room and bathroom. There is a little kitchenette where you can use the fridge, microwave and kettle.

Great hotel close to the train station in a quiet area. The couple running the place are very friendly. I arrived early by train and they agreed to let me into the room earlier. They also helped me out with doing laundry and gave me some sightseeing tips for the rest of my trip. The room was clean and spacious, and the airconditioning was very nice with the heat wave we had to endure. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear neighboring guests well. I could easily follow the conversation between a man and his kid if I spoke the same language. It's also a little out of the way of the city center, but it's easy to go there by bus (I didn't walk because of the heat, but I imagine it would easily be a 20/30 minute walk).
