The hotel is far better than it should be for the price. Room was modernised, functional and clean. Included breakfast was really good. Two things stand out 1. Tiny entry foyer/reception and 2. During the day, the location is ok, but at night it is deserted and feels unsafe. This is not a problem if you don't go out after 9pm or if you taxi/uber to and from the hotel.

Very clean hotel with good standard of rooms. Breakfast is one of the best in Brazil: nice variability of sweet and non-sweet food, jogurt, fruits, homemade juices... Room was quiet and AC works well. Great communication with staff via WhatsApp. Near of main bus terminal.

Comfort, location, breakfast, cleanliness Noisy refrigerator, small table, mosquitoes at night
-
The location and the price is affordable Noises of the street. Some parts of the room aren’t maintained well

The people working at the reception were very friendly and helpful. The location is as central as it can be. I felt very welcome and comfortable. Would book again. The room didn’t have a window to the outside. Only to a ventilation shaft. But the upside to this was it was relatively quiet, even though the location is super busy obviously. The bed is very loud during certain activities. No parking.

First we stayed in a room without a windows and with the noise from the kitchen, but when we requested a chance we were able to move to a better room.

Everything was fine.

Staff was friendly. Bed was fine. We had a room with a window directly to the airconditioners, which made quite some noise. But we were there for 2 nights so it was fine

Very clean, friendly staff. Internet did not work in my room. I had to walk down the hall to check my email. Also, the Internet based tv struggled to get a signal. Netflix and YouTube were available when they had WiFi. Otherwise it was only local broadcasting stations on TV, all in Portuguese, and mostly news and religious programming. No actual shows to watch.

The area looks a bit dangerous. The day time is ok but the night time it turns a kind of the walking dead city

Conveniently located in the central district, comfy room with great AC, good breakfast and very nice price ?
-
Excellent breakfast. Good variety of cakes. I think that the sheets used in the beds could be better. And also the pillows.

Staff very friendly, location perfect, room a good size and a large choice in the buffet breakfast. We were able to leave our bags for a couple of days. There were two of us and we were initially only given one towel and had to ask twice for this. The internet was awful. It was very difficult to do anything on the internet. Netflix buffered so much we couldn't always watch television

Nothing The center of Belo Horizonte, where the hotel is located, is an area of extreme insecurity where no Brazilian recommends staying or transiting. People in a situation of extreme poverty and addictions, lying on the street or walking like ghosts. Forget about walking in the street when the sun goes down. They gave me a room where the window did not close, it was cold, I had to argue for half an hour to change the room. They said somebody would fix it the day after. Because of the cold I asked for a blanket, they charged me an extra 10 reais! There was not a bed light. Impossible to sleep because it was like being on the street, whose screams and violence entered into the room. I have the impression that the comments on Booking about this hotel are false, I chose it based on the comments but they do not reflect what the hotel is, the score that Booking gives it is implausible. Booking is not longer reliable after this experience. Avoid this hotel with its horrible neighbourhood.

Central location…walk most places, near bus station and the grand markets, and the fantastic Hippie Fair every Sunday near the park. Good breakfasts also, and a quiet room away from Main Street. A small fridge in room would be an asset.
