It is an old building with a great location at the heart of Belo Horizonte. The double room is quite big with a balcony and space to keep the clothes. Even for a busy location the room was clean. The staff was polite and available to solve problems. It is located in the most busy square in the city. So, the noise is constant. Also, the showers didn't work during late night: almost no water, it was a mess.

The staff The manual lift which requires a staff to be in it all the time (sometimes they are not available and there is a long wait). The windows are terribly old, very hard to open or close, and they allow noise from the street

The breakfast was decent. We feel like the photos/description were misleading as there was a photo of the view and not the hotel itself. The area felt quite unsafe. While the staff was nice, the facilities were not up to expectations.
