Normandy Hotel

Quarto muito barulhento, muito mesmo. Hotel fica numa rua bastante movimentada com muitos ônibus passando, acelerando e freiando, inclusive de madrugada. O quarto não possui qualquer isolamento acústico. Pelo contrário, achei que as janelas possuem mais vidros estreitos que o comum. Travesseio e colchão apenas ok. Enfim, experiência bem ruim.

The room was small, walls dirty, very unconfortable beds

The rooms are well kept with A/C, mini fridge, comfy bed and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast was delicious, the cashews juice ?. N/A

Nothing. Everything is perfect.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The property had three elevators, and only one elevator would work. It would take a long time to get to the elevator which it was overloaded most of the time. The window seal was broken and we could hear noise from outside, especially at night. A maintenance person came to our room to adjust the window without success. Still had a large crack on unit 1010 and bugs would come in through the crack in the window too.

Location Staff was unprofessional and rude. In the breakfast/restaurant you could hear them talking badly about the guests and every request was like they were doing a huge favor, often with a rude tone to their voice. They only had one elevator properly working, so sometimes you’d have to wait almost 15min to go up/down. Breakfast was not well planned and even though it was supposed to go until 10am, at 8:30am they already were over many things and did not replenish them.

The front desk service was not very pleasant—staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming. The room and overall facilities felt very old-fashioned; the hotel is clearly in need of renovation. The gym equipment was not working properly, especially the treadmill, which was completely out of order. My room had no soundproofing at all. There was an air conditioning motor right outside the window that made loud noise throughout the night, making it hard to get any sleep. On top of that, the shower was very inconsistent—the water pressure was crazy , and when turning it on, I would get splashed with cold water before it finally heated up.

The vintage arquiteture Staff, estructure (hair dryer didn’t work, I have to change the magnet key 4 times, the elevator was not capable of work for the entire number of guest) and the noise of the street was very loud and the windows were not anti noising.

Old school

Great sized room with fantastic view of the city. Excellent breakfast. Rooftop pool was a bonus, open till 22:00 and amazing views. Great location. Can't think of anything, Great for a short stay.

Breakfast it was delicious, Could have some gluten-free and dairy-free food, coffee really good. More options for people with allergies.

Location and breakfast They had a problem with their cable company so we had no TV to watch for the whole 5 days I was there also there’s 3 elevators but on my last 2 days only 1 was working, it was a nightmare it took me 22 minutes to come down with my luggage on check out day.

Nothing This place is terrible. Our stay was uncomfortable. The room was stinky and so old. In general this hotel was never renovated. The staff is unfriendly and didn’t want to help us. They actually first lied about our request but in the end they just rejected. Breakfast is awful. We tried some fruits and it tasted like onion. Everything about this place is disgusting. Better stay in favella than in this hotel.

Very central area, comfortable rooms and good breakfast. The room was extremely noisy because the windows were facing a busy street and they didn't even close properly

The location and the swimming pool are quite nice. The building is a bit old, there were only two elevators working for a lot of people to use and the breakfast was really not special.
