Medplaya Hotel Riviera - Adults Recommended

The facilities exceeded our expectations. The buffet was consistently fresh, high-quality, and offered a great variety every day. We also loved the elegant lobby bar and lounge, which was a perfect place to relax. The game room, well-equipped gym, and beautiful pool added a lot to the overall experience. Most importantly, every member of the staff was genuinely friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. There was very little to dislike. Overall, the experience was excellent and met or exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is a perfect choice for those who like beautiful views and good interior. With such price the first line hotels are not usually good ones but this hotel is a perfect choice. Good breakfast, clean and sunny rooms with sea view. No option to add a third bed even for additional payment, and both single and twin rooms cost the same price which is unreasonable.

Absolutely fantastic stay for 5 nights. Gorgeous pool, great breakfast, spotless hotel. Friendly staff. Will definitely return and would highly recommend. Ideal location right on the beach front. QR codes for all menus & info around the hotel. Didn’t see any info about entertainment or spa facilities for the whole stay. Understand the desire to be eco friendly but could have some more visual information about available services maybe.

Hotel was clean, quiet, spacious, good breakfast. Excellent location, backing on to the boardwalk. Helpful staff, could order a taxi and it would be there in a couple of minutes, no waiting around. One of our group experience a minor plumbing incident, but the staff dealt with it immediately and all was good. Breakfast was great, you could order fresh eggs and they were made directly in front of you. Extensive choice of breakfast food. I didn't get to the indoor pool as the opening hours did not suit unless we staying around the hotel during the day. I would have loved if it opened early morning and late evening, so I was disappointed with this. Travel in March so weather not great for the outdoor pool.

The location is GREAT, right next to the promenade and the beach with a lot of bars and restaurants. The stuff is very professional and kind. Terrace with sunbeds with the sea view is amazing. Breakfast was bad. Very poor quality food and very little variety. If you want to eat some vegetables there are only slices of tomato and cucumber, fruits were rotten and olives were dry. The scrambled eggs tasted like they were made from powder. Also there is a mold under the shower.

Location Hotel name was changed and this is not a good sign for me and I consider booking sending me to another hotel

The first room assigned did not have a balcony (although we booked a room with a balcony) and was small. We had to pay additional 50 euro per night to get a better room, as the supervisor from reception informed us. The initial receptionist was nice and patient, not the same thing with the supervisor. The carpets were worn out, some places need renovation and cleaning, the cups in the room were dirty. The spa area definely needs updates, renovation.

Good location - staff were attentive, and the hotel was perfect for a few days away. We stayed on the 6th floor, an extra large bed which was very comfortable. Walk in shower and double sink in the bathroom. Room was modern and cleaned daily with a fridge and a complimentary bottle of both water and wine. We stayed half board, good selection at breakfast and something for everyone at dinner time. Spa - could do with a little TLC but the free 1 hour was welcomed when the weather wasn't good. The average age was 60+

Room was nice but noisy because of the lift going up and down Buffet food on the evening was very poor and cold and the staff were clearing away ten minutes before closing time at 9.30p.m. Felt very rushed and unwelcoming
