Pueblo Evita Hill

Access to the property is quite challenging, with a steep hill and three flights of stairs, which may not suit everyone. The apartment itself is a bit dated in terms of décor, and while generally tidy, it wasn’t spotless. There was also no kettle provided, which was a small but noticeable inconvenience. Some kind of Mosquito deterrent would be a good idea.

Beautiful and spacious apartment with a nice view. Access to swimming pool was key for children.

Perfect sized apartment for a family of 4, large balcony with dining table and 2 sunbeds. Rooftop terrace with amazing views and pool. We had to pay 10 euros on arrival to use wifi, the fridge/freezer did not work the whole stay. We were advised by the pool staff that the landlord had not paid her communal fees and really we should not be using the facilities available, i did read this in another review from june before booking however i thought it would be a one off. Landlord advised it was a mistake.

It was basic but very clean, they provided a clothes horse, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, hob, grill, microwave and even a parasol for the beach. The apartment block is located on a steep hill, and my calves were like rocks with going up and down each day, so not ideal for the less mobile as the apartments are also up quite a few flights of steps in addition to the steep hill. We found it hard in the extreme heat but it was exercise that I needed. We hired a car and only found one day where we couldn’t park outside the apartment, but there are plenty of roads close by where you could park close by. Air con in rooms worked perfectly. Coffee and milk supplied on arrival early hours , and was needed until we could get to the supermarket the next morning. Our usual holidays consist of 4/5 star hotels, but we wanted to allow the children to experience what you can do with a budget. We ate out every night and travelled the coast and local area daily which is where most our money was spent. Why spend a fortune on accommodation if it’s clean and you can do so many other things in addition. Just a minor gripe, although the location is perfect you could hear the people above and below but we didn’t experience much noise other than the odd night. People in the above apartment thought it nice to throw cigarette butts onto our balcony, just glad it didn’t fall onto our clean washing. It would have been nice if some bin bags were provided and more than 2 rolls of toilet roll for 4 people just wasn’t enough, we ended up having to purchase these but no great cost, more an inconvenience.

Large balcony steep hill to get to property

Excellent stay , large apartment, very clean, although was up a very steep hill , it wouldn't do for disabled people, Of this It had a roof top pool and although it was up 5 flights of stairs we decided to give it a go , lovely pool , plenty of beds and bar , we were met with a rather nice man who asjed us out room number and after checking, he informed us the owner hadnt paid her community fees so we wouldn't be able to use the immenities , we wasnt the only holliday makers either because she had quite a few apartments, it was very disappointing for us but even more so for families with children , we were not informed of this at any stage

Appartments were clean and tidy, The roof top pool was closed, rather disappointed at only finding this out on arrival, n annoyed as the "facilities" section clearly stated open top pool would be open during the time of our stay.

We was presently surprised when we entered the apartment, it exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for us, but I must add that there is a very steep hill you have to walk up to get back from the beach/main strip but this wasn’t an issue for us as we are young and able. The staff were great, especially when they arranged for us to stay an extra night because I accidentally didn’t book for enough days for our trip. One negative I must add is that we had to pay a late book in fee of €40 to check in at 21:30 which i have no issue in paying at all as a staff member had to come back out to check us in, but I was not made aware of this before when I told them the time of our arrival. We definitely enjoyed our stay here and would go back!

The location of the property is good as not too close to main drag but walking distance to all amenities. Value for money There was work being carried out in the next apartment with caused alot of dust and noise at times as started at 8 am sharp, just good job we were out most of the day.

The views Before leaving home I enquired about pool towels to be told they provided but they don’t we had to buy some, there were parts missing of the air conditioning, no water in fridge on arrival, we were not advised about the continuing arguments with the rest of the site so had no Pool to use so had to pay 14 Euros a day for beds on the beach. After we checked in we never saw reception open again, the site does say there is a safe but doesn’t tell you it has to be rented, bathroom very dated, chipped and black mould, the bedroom floor was covered in hairs, no tray in the BBQ so we couldn’t use, fridge all broken inside.
